The postion of the hotel was great - right next to the Union Station and a short walk from the Arch. There is a pool and hot tub which was appreciated after a long walk around the city. The free drinks and food in the evening was a very pleasant extra!

Tea coffee beverages available trough out the day. Very central location. Would love to stay at the Drury again

Quiet Southern Missouri town
West Plains is a nice southern Missouri town and happens to be on our route to Florida. We always stay there on our way either to or from Florida. Our last experience with another motel at almost twice the price was not satisfactory and I was happy to find the West Plains Motel, tried it and will be back. We were just passing through, but I could go there and spend time brousing the antique shops.

Staying in St. Charles gave us access to the Big city of St. Louis. Here we also a great selections of restaurants that was a big deal. We also had to historic district that very good site seeing. Especially being right by the Missouri River.

First time to Busch stadium, they did a great job getting the crowd into the stadium for the concert. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the Missouri Athletic Club and would stay there again!

Lots of history.
Lots of history. We took a 90 minute bus (so-called trolley) tour, which was worthwhile. Check out Forest Park, including the Missouri history museum. We had our best meal at Taze restaurant - really a fast food place - downtown. Good Lebanese food, reasonably priced, helpful service. With more time, I would have gone to the zoo, and spent more time in the gorgeous old courthouse.

Shopping in Kansas City was good experience. Car definitely needed to get around as everywhere is very spaced out. Ate at Bo LIng Chinese Restaurant - food very good. Jamesport Missouri definitely worth a visit.

There is not much to do in Mexico Missouri.
There is not much to do in Mexico Missouri. We were visiting family. You can fish and run or walk in some of the trails in town - At the former Greens Estate is a great trail. Try eating at Andrea C's restaurant just off the square- it was awesome!

Trip up Arch was a bit gimmicky. No pictures at top telling you what you are seeing. Visit the old courthouse, architecture is lovely. Associated boat trip not worth doing. Blues Museum really good with interactive activities. Missouri history museum and civil war museum both worth a visit especially the latter. Beautiful Cathedral basilica of St Louis with gorgeous mosaics, spectacular. Film and museum at home of Ulysses S Grant worth a visit if you are interested in history. If you are there when there is a wine dinner at the Botanic gardens then go! Fantastic 5 course meal with different wine to taste at each course.

We stopped and went online and found this hotel, it was a bit farther than we expected but was phenomenal! Beds very comfortable and room nicely set up. It's not downtown, but we loved it. The mattresses very comfortable, and the Breakfast was Superb! Nicest breakfast all week and some hotels much more expensive. Thank you.

For our purposes, activities in and around Missouri State University, the location was ideal; diverse shops and restaurants were mainly within walking distance. Most everything else was within a 15-20 minute drive, including the airport. The apartment was spacious with "all the conveniences of home," at a price less than hotels-motels we checked. Our host contact was very responsive, when needed.

We made a short drive to Sweet Smoke BBQ in a pretty downtown area and enjoyed a nice meal. Daily housekeeping was offered and that's a rarity these days.
