Very disappointed with the facility, the staff knew about bedbug problem and did not inform guest. Staff was well aware of issue and decided some rooms were cleaner than others, who does that, without getting problem fixed before guest have to discover issue. Carpet was filthy, not sure when the last time it was shampooed. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!

KC is pretty cool.
KC is pretty cool. Lots of entertainment options from concert venues to museums, bars and restaurants not to mention all the sports options. I was there twice in the last few months to go to concerts and visited the Federal Reserve Money Museum on one of the trips. Driving around downtown is a little tricky with all the road construction going on but it's not too bad, there are street cars and plenty of public transportation however. Lot's of people walking around downtown for a Thursday night! Some nice parks in the city as well. Check in was quick and easy. I love biscuits with sausage gravy and got very excited that they offered it at breakfast. However, I later discovered that the staff opened it from the can and poured into the serving tray. The biscuits and gravy were cold and not heated. So beautiful at Christmas on the plaza so many sites and restaurants and shops the view from our hotel when it started snowing was the perfect effect 😍 a very romantic evening. I visited the Zoo, Union Station and The World War I museum they were all very interesting with helpful and friendly staff. The Negro League Museum is a must for any baseball fan. A ride on the Street Car is a great way to get the lay of the land and it's free. Kanas City is know for Barbeque and it's fantastic , I love Gates, but it has some much more. A short drive from most of the Kansas City sights and about 4-5 blocks walk to the "Plaza." We spent 2 weeks here while visiting our children. I believe this was our longest stay in a hotel so we were a little apprehensive but this worked out very well. We will definitely stay here again.
