Nice and comfortable rooms, quiet, easily walkable location in Cusco. Staff was very nice (be ready to speak Spanish only). Breakfast was fresh and delicious, although quite light (bread, butter, jams, drinks). Some eggs and or cheese would also have been good.

We had an amazing stay in Hostal Madre Tierra. The location was perfect in the cosy area San Blas. The whole hostal and the rooms were nicely decorated, it felt really cosy and warm! Host Maykquell and his wife made us feel like we were at our second home. They were very friendly and extremely helpfull. Every night we got a hot water bottle to keep warm in bed, these details made us feel like we were in a home instead of a hotel. When we came back to Cusco after our trekking we stayed again at Madre Tierra because we had such a good time.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of San Blas without being far from the main square. San Blas, by the way, is where all the cool restaurantes, bars, shops, cool streets, and 12 sided rocks are located in Cusco. Our three bed bedroom was perfect and even had a small private patio and confortable dressing room which is appreciated with three per room. The shower was hot, the sheets where super comfy and so where the mattresses. The hotel has a series of beautiful courtyards which are very instagrammable if that is your thing. I would very much recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was far better than expected. The rate was reasonable. We stayed here overnight, left bags to visit Macchu Picchu for 2 days, and returned for 2 more nights. We would definitely stay here if we would have a chance to visit Cusco again.

The staff treated me like family, showing immense care and support. A special shoutout to Anthony, whose concern and care were truly exceptional. He even ensured I had dinner in bed since I couldn't get up. The breakfast was also delightful, with the avocado toast being a standout. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with Netflix, which was perfect for relaxing.
