Springfield MO is full of homeless individuals and vagrants, there everywhere, every street corner, laying down sleeping in the various gas stations parking lots and camping out behind some of the hotels...we were also told that the mayor of Springfield has been bringing the homeless in by busses for what rhyme or reasosn I don't know.

We had a room booked in advance but was told when we got there they were overbooked but they could put us in a handicap room. It wasn’t what we excepted but accepted the room. The breakfast had good choices to choose from. The people at the front desk was very nice. The hotel was dated but was fine for an overnight stay

There are restaurants galore. This is a big, big city.
There are restaurants galore. This is a big, big city. It's no metropolis, but it's big in size. It can take a while to get from place to place. We really enjoyed the aquarium at Bass Pro Shop. They told us it was a 3 to 4 hour exhibition and we were wrong not to believe them. Downtown is adorable. Very trendy bistros and ice cream parlors. Very cool (although somewhat pretentious) coffee shops. I could go on but you just have to see it for yourself. I won't mention Branson which is just a short drive away.

My key card didn't work when we first checked in and I had to walk all the way back down with all my luggage to get one that worked. It didn't work again later that night when I returned to my room and had to go back down and have it re-programmed. I was also charged $150 deposit and I have stayed there several times and that has never been done before so was a little frustrated with that. The rooms are nice and clean I was just super frustrated with the key cards not working properly. I come to Springfield often and stay here as it is close to my grandkids.
Your staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast was simple, yet good -- happy to have it. Although I didn't bring my dogs on this trip, I was happy to see that this hotel allows them and is pet friendly. Overall, my stay was merely okay. I had hoped to really like it and enjoy my stay, as I was by myself and haven't traveled in awhile. It was a chance for me to give myself some much needed pampering. I wish I could say it was really wonderful, but can only give it an okay-meh.
My favorite hotel in Springfield, MO. I love the hydration station because we use tumblers. You get your ice and water in one trip. I love the showers water pressure and the soap dispensers. The room we had was small but was quiet. I also liked the huge smart tv. We were able to pick up Netflix and watch our show.
I like the location and how close it was to all the stores and restaurants, and that it was still quiet from the street traffic noise. The beds are comfortable, Breakfast was good, Excellent Customer Services from Staff. Overall the Hotel was always clean and smelling fresh.
From the moment we arrived we were treated as honored guests and family. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with all of the amenities of a hotel.
The breakfast was clearly freshly made home style food.
Would stay here again on our next visit to Springfield.
We happen to get a room that was behind the elevator. Although we did not need a handicap room, it was wonderful. The size, the bathroom, the shower. It was perfect. Also, the staff was especially friendly and greeted us every time we Entered and exited the hotel.
The best of all was the people. The room was amazing, especially with the technology but the people were above any expectation. Even when I had something bad happen that by the way was not the Hotel's issue, they helped me with that.
If you put this hotel in another location, it would be perfect! This iconic, single story hotel has been kept very clean, updated and staff is excellent! Well groomed and doesn't feel like a typical "chain" hotel.
Only stayed one night. Did not experience anything worth while to mention that was likable. Manager did try to compensate for dirty room but only if I signed up for the rewards program through the hotel.
the price of 2 nights, with the Big king bed setup was the perfect price. Conveniently located right off of Hgwy 65 and Battlefield. This is my choice of hotels when I come down to Springfield
The hotel room was very nice. Had a separate room from kitchen and TV room. Great location for the sights we were seeing. The breakfast was just mediocre. Not bad but not great either.
