The location is great, just an easy walk from the wharf. The room was comfortable however was hot, facilities are good and the people who own the business are really nice! Their food downstairs is delicious also!

Staff were very helpful and friendly and I liked the communal dinner except the first night included a can of beer each. The next night didnt so would be good if they had a blackboard of the menu and price for the meal up in advance.
Loved being able to use the kayak and paddleboard. Thank you.
This is more backpacker accommodation not hotel or resort style accommodation. We had a few issues with our room which they fixed quickly.
Well done for providing free water bottle refills. Thank you.
Lots of seating areas to chill. This is a nice rustic place to stay and chill at while being near the local community.

I had a lovely stay here- the location was perfect- close to lots of restaurants and bars yet quiet at night, right next to a great sunset view. I stayed in the single hut- the bed was comfortable and there was a fan that worked well.

The bed is literally 20m away from the sea, it’s just perfect to wake up and go for a swim. The bungalows are very cute and pretty.
The breakfast and food overall was delicious with lots of vegeterian (but yummy!) options. Prices also super reasonable with nice atmosphere at night with the torchs and chill music. We barely ate in other places and I can tell it’s really the best place to stay in Saracen bay if you want an authentic experience full of charm.
Nice for walks. nice bays, beaches. The nicest beach and resort i think is lazy beach I think. It is more remote very much built into the jungle and layed back , snorkling available - good corals if the water is clear apparently. You can walk from there accross to the main beach: Saracene bay, not far.

Prior to travelling to Sanloem I read online that there are no roads on the island and was therefore quite shocked to see the massive, wide, bulldozed dirt roads that had been carved into the island's untouched jungle. Upon investigating the matter, we found out that a Chinese owned company has rented half of the island from Cambodian government and is planning on building big hotels and casinos around the island. So, what you saw during your visit year ago is totally different from this year. I dread to think what the island will looklike in 5-10 years time.

Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem.
Long Time Visitors to Koh Rong Sanloem. Stayed at Lazy Baech for many years when it was only accommodation on Island and Saracen Bay was development free and a 25min walk through Jungle. Now they have cleared a 4 lane road through the Jungle from Saracen Bay to Lazy Beach. Just stayed at M'pai bay for first time and it my new favorite location in Koh Rong Sanloem. Nice village feel in nice bay with a fantastic main beach around the headland that is not developed. Lots of great Food and Drink options and allround friendly owners.

Nice and quiet island, small enough to cover the main sights on foot. We loved lazy beach but weren't so impressed by Saracen bay. This is mainly because of the amount of rubbish in the water/sand but I guess it depends on the currents/wind. The island itself has very basic facilities and reduce accessibility, I don't think it would be suitable to someone on a wheelchair or using crutches.

This is a great place to relax and sit around on the beach, plenty of activities if you want but we just relaxed.
We ate at Saracen Bay Resort most of the time, great food and very reasonably priced, seemed to be cheaper than other places along the beach.

on the beach, great clean pool and patio area. bar convenient to the pool area. the whole resort is clean and well maintained. the staff are very helpful even if sometimes there is a small language problem they will find someone to assist you. easy access to the cottages that you stay in. Sara and Jodi were so helpful with everything. easy walking distance from the ferry pier and they will take all your baggage on a small boat to the resort. you can also go by boat if you prefer. great accommodations great staff
Sunset beach is a gorgeous place on Koh Rong Sanloem and Sun Boo a glimpse of paradise.
The staff are the most lovely and accomodating, the dorm was comfortable, everything perfectly clean.
Yoga sessions in the morning were really enjoyable and the food and cocktails outstanding. Also thanks for keeping me hydrated the whole day (and before the night!) and for making the effort to run the place as sustainably and free of plastic as possible.
I'll dream of the cheesecake cocktail for days to come.
Our private room at Onederz Hostel was very clean, with a comfy bed. A/C and hot water 24hrs a day. The hostel had an amazing atmosphere with lots of entertainment such as a pool table, football table etc and even had a fire show with a live DJ one night. Food/drink was very reasonably priced, with a BBQ on every night till late. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this hostel, even if you want a more chilled out time on Koh Rong Sanloem.
The staff is really friendly, the place is super chill. The hotel is new and everything is clean and beds are comfy ! The view is amazing for sunset, you have happy hour with good cocktails and comfortable seats. the food is AMAZING, delicious !
You can also swim in the ocean at night to see some bioluminescence plankton, that's magic ! The access is a bit hard if you have big luggages because you're crossing the jungle but trust me, the view and stay is worth it !
You will not find anywhere else where you’re made to feel so welcome, so looked after, and so pampered. We’ve travelled all over the world and honestly this was some of the best experiences in hospitality and attention to detail we’ve come across. A superb team in an absolutely stunning sea front setting. We stayed at each of the different accommodations along Sunset Beach and this absolutely kicked ass of the others. Hands down the winner. Highly recommended.
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, nice bungalows and beach. Great location near the pier (make sure to take the right ferry). A few lounge chairs spread along the beach under the palm trees to relax, a giant swing to watch the stars at night. We swam at night and saw the bioluminescent plankton! Food at the restaurant was good. Friendly staff, especially the two at reception. Water refill station to reduce plastic bottles is good.
Sarasea Resort was a lovely stay. We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach after having been very kindly upgraded for free! The room was spacious and comfortable and the communal area was nearby and very lively. The staff were so friendly and we played pool with them every night, it was a real family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Koh Rong Samloem.
Tucked away on Koh Rong Sanloem Island, Laguna Resort offers a delightful escape without breaking the bank. The warm welcome and cozy bungalows set the tone for a relaxed getaway.
Meals are delicious and reasonably priced, showcasing local flavors without the hefty price tag. Explore the island's beauty through affordable activities like snorkeling, fishing and kayaking.
Well placed on the island in the most lively part. Sara resort has been one of the few hotels remaining opened during the pandemic, there’s a lot of guests (sometimes a bit too much ;)). you can enjoy the lively atmosphere at the restaurant. the room bungalow are functional and clean. the staff is very helpful and very nice. included breakfast is good.
location was excellent. Beautiful views across the bay. infinity pool right on beach was amazing & another pool by the bungalows was ideal. staff were so friendly & helpful especially Miss Lily she is a star. Accommodation, grounds & pools were maintained to a very high standard . Lazy beach on other side of island is an easy walk through the jungle
Beautiful setting on the beach with a nice restaurant/bar, pool table, kayaks and paddle boards to use for free.
I stayed in one of the bungalows. Comfortable bed with mosquitoe net, private bathroom, hammock on the patio.
The staff is very friendly, always willing to help!
Yoga sessions in the morning to see the sun come up!
Good wifi
Wonderful hotel. Good location on the island - it's down the quieter end of Saracen Bay. Clean and queit.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was mostly excellent. Lots of bali beds on the beach so nevber struggled for availabilty. Room was a great size with outdoor bathroom which was a different but nice experiece.
Beautiful location at a beautiful beach. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a private beach a 25 min walk from Saracen Bay, but the it also offered a free ride with a tractor so that we didn't have to carry the luggage. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend it!
Our stay at Robinson Bungalows was truly unforgettable. Tucked away from the world, this oasis offered us a perfect escape.
The bungalows were cozy, the staff welcoming, and the food exceptional. Every meal was a culinary journey, and each moment was filled with tranquility.
Staff are able and very willing to accomodate, but are struggling with facilities issues in a hotel just coming out of a 2-year Covid shutdown. They promptly resolved several issues with one of our accomodations.
The atmosphere of the place is amazing. The location, the great staff, the restaurant... Giving just the perfect vibes for that place.
If you are looking for chilling, this is the best hotel in Saracen Beach.
Nice simple and comfortable wooden bungalows, quite location, clean sandy beach, friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant and bar with good food and variety of drinks, amazing sunset
