Loano is my favorite place in Italy. It is a relaxed little town with everything you need. Good resturants, nice beaches and nightlife. There is also hiking possibility and you can visit the caves. Bathroom was big too with a very spacious shower and a bidet. Room looked refurbished. Best of all, there was a garage to park our motorcycle against a fee of €10/night.
