Loano is my favorite place in Italy. It is a relaxed little town with everything you need. Good resturants, nice beaches and nightlife. There is also hiking possibility and you can visit the caves. The pool on the roof was much needed on the hot day we turned up, it was very cold but was fun with it's jacuzzi & water jets. Restaurant was good too, a lot of fish on the menu (no surprise) and good portion sizes. Nice chef explained in English for us too what to expect. Great location/views being actually at sea almost, and free parking was a nice bonus.

The location is great, it backs onto the shopping streets and then a block or two more to the beach. The rooms are nice and the breakfast and dining area is great. When we were there only one lady was working all parts of the hotel and she did a great job. The place had a nice and chill l off-season vibe. Price was good and it was what we needed.

Parking behind the hotel available for 9 EUR a day. We recommend to book an umbrella and beds direct at the beach (cheaper than hotel rate).
