Set on a slope of Mount Parnassus, at the exit of Delphi town, Amalia offers a panoramic view of the green valley, all the way to the sea, Itea and Galaxidi.

A nice design of the hotel and its architecture (a bit old fashioned now, but still pleasant). Super location. Sweet surprise wellcome gift in the room. Splendid views from rooms.

The campsite features a magnificent pool with splendid views. The little bungalow we had, called Erato, also came with a picknick table with a nice view. There is a small village next to the campsite, called Chrissa, which is a little gem to have dinner on the main square and feel like you are off the beaten track. Delfi is only 10 minutes by car, I recommend driving up and visiting the last two hours of opening, so you can truly enjoy the splendour of the site without it being overcrowded.

Very convenient for the Ancient Delphi site.
Room was clean and cosy and the small street facing balcony was a bonus.
Parking was available on nearby roads.
We were passing through Delphi for just one day and the hotel was adequate for our needs.

Delphi has a great archeological site and museum. Those can be seen in one morning or afternoon. The number of large tour groups was a headache and ruined the experience. There needs to be a limit on entry per day. The town is a tourist trap and not worth your time. Stay elsewhere for better surroundings and visit Delphi on a day trip. Mt Parnassus National Park is an empty, undeveloped forest. As far as we could tell, we were the only ones there in mid April. The place is real wilderness and loaded with a wide variety of mushroom and fungus, which is a why we went.

Archeological site and museum are well worth the trip, but other than that, there’s no reason to stay more than the morning or afternoon it takes to see those two things. The town is another tourist trap of souvenir stores and basic restaurants with extremely limited parking.

My favourite place in Dephi was definitely the archaeological site, especially the temple of Apollo. We had a wondeful breakfast at Melopoleio every morning, which was followed by a pleasant coffee and beer later in the evening. Delphi has the village in a walking distance both from the site and the museum. However, I would recomment to any visitors to prefer a car as a means of transportation, because there are plenty of villages around the area that are worth seeing.

Great location. A must go.
Great location. A must go. The ruines are great although the stadium was closed. And the museum is really nice. We spent two nights and this was maybe too much. We arrived at 2pm from Athenes by bus. We could have visited the location on the day after and leave back to Athenes with the 4pm bus. Nevertheless, there was a very good restaurant (Taverna Vahkos) so that is ok.

Delphi is a beautiful location, the archaeological site and museum are stunning. The town is very close to the small winter ski resort of Parnassos and the picturesque town of Arachova but also very close to the seaside, Itea and the picturesque seafront town of Galaxidi. Food was really delicious both in Delphi and Arachova. All in all a must-see for visitors to Greece but, also ideal for a weekend or long weekend stay. If you have a car you can see and do so much. You don't even need a car if you are only interested in the Delfoi archaeological site which is a short walk from the town.

A small mountain town with a lot of history!
A small mountain town with a lot of history! Worth a visit, if for no other reason then to see the Temple of Apollo, quite possibly the third most famous landmark in Greece (after the Acropolis and Mount Olympus), where the Oracle if Delphi foretold her prophecies. Be sure to budget enough time to see neighboring Araxova!
If you go to Delphos, don't hesitate to book the Amalia Hotel.
5 minutes walking to all Archeological spots.
The hotel is a marvel of the 60s and the staff is professional, available and caring.
Our room with balcony overlooking the valley was breathtaking.
The room was huge for Greek standards.
BONUS > The hotel is a masterpiece of architecture (N. Valsamakis).
It was made in 1965 and will surprise you.
In our room, a lithograph signed by the artist Yiannis Moralis, the Greek Picasso.
In short, our stay was a total success.
Bearing in mind this is a one star hotel, I thought things went well. Friendly welcome, room was clean and had necessary supplies. As one might expect, there is a bit of wear and tear. But the surfaces were clean, the bed sheets were clearly clean and pressed even. The breakfast was a bit spartan, but that said, it was plenty without there being any wasted food. Good coffee, juice, a hard boiled egg, toast, croissant, jam.
Great views, service, and phenomenal location. Walkable to the Temple of Apollo, and plenty of shops nearby. Having parking was key - many other hotels in the area did not offer parking. It's a family run business and it was very nice to see everyone help out. Breakfast was buffet style in the lower floor, which was very standard. Large variety.
The hotel is well located in the main street of Delphi and easy enough walking distance to the archeological sites. It had a cute balcony, in my case, looking over the street, and block out blinds to keep out any noise. The bathroom was roomy and water was good. There are plenty of good restaurants very close by.
This is an amzing place to stay in Delphi. The owner is so lovely: friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were absolutely spotless. The breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade cake. We were on a tour of ancient sites in Greece and this was our best accommodation. It was just perfect. Highly recommend.
This is a hotel in the town of Delphi. Since I made the reservation, they were very strict about check-in. At first they said they couldn't let my driver check in. Fortunately, I made it clear later that the hotel environment is very good, the price-performance ratio is very high, and it is a good hotel.
Nice mountain-view, easy parking (Delphi, like Ancient Olympias, allows parking on the street, so I just parked outside of the hotel), friendly staff that sends a map of the town before my arrival (I visited five hotels during this trip, and this is the only hotel does so, very heartwarming imo)
The family that runs this hotel are super friendly and accommodating. They were very personable and made sure we were very comfortable. They even served us breakfast after we missed the morning cut off. We felt right at home. The room was quiet and clean and we had a memorable stay in Delphi.
The hotel is decent. This is an old hotel, and rooms reflect this: no upgrade since the construction. It is clean but rough. The breakfast is fine. The location is great, but Delphi is so small that any location is fine actually.
Almost nothing.
The view from the room we stayed in was stunning. However, this is where it all ends.
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The so-called bathroom is a joke. Talking a shower is mission init self.
The hotel is in a perfect position: restaurants, souvenirs and coffee shops are just around the corner.
The building is very elegant. The room is large and comfortable, a bit old-fashioned.
Eveything was clean.
The hotel was great!!! Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and the bed was very comfortable. Also, our room had a great panoramic view of the mountains! One of the best hotels I've stayed 😊
Beautiful hotel with 1940's vibe (old wood banisters and plush carpet). Balcony view was spectacular. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the room, incredible breakfast.
Helpful staff and great location! When transfer company cancelled our private car, the hotel was able to arrange a back up solution to the problem. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
