big and clean room but the heat was off when we arrived, so the room was cold as it was winter. Nice breakfast with great view. It could have more options in cooked breakfast, not only boiled eggs. There is no parking facilities. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Set on a slope of Mount Parnassus, at the exit of Delphi town, Amalia offers a panoramic view of the green valley, all the way to the sea, Itea and Galaxidi.

Frontdesk people are extraordinary friendly and helpful
My favourite place in Dephi was definitely the archaeological site, especially the temple of Apollo. We had a wondeful breakfast at Melopoleio every morning, which was followed by a pleasant coffee and beer later in the evening. Delphi has the village in a walking distance both from the site and the museum. However, I would recomment to any visitors to prefer a car as a means of transportation, because there are plenty of villages around the area that are worth seeing.

Great location. A must go.
Great location. A must go. The ruines are great although the stadium was closed. And the museum is really nice. We spent two nights and this was maybe too much. We arrived at 2pm from Athenes by bus. We could have visited the location on the day after and leave back to Athenes with the 4pm bus. Nevertheless, there was a very good restaurant (Taverna Vahkos) so that is ok.

Delphi is a beautiful location, the archaeological site and museum are stunning. The town is very close to the small winter ski resort of Parnassos and the picturesque town of Arachova but also very close to the seaside, Itea and the picturesque seafront town of Galaxidi. Food was really delicious both in Delphi and Arachova. All in all a must-see for visitors to Greece but, also ideal for a weekend or long weekend stay. If you have a car you can see and do so much. You don't even need a car if you are only interested in the Delfoi archaeological site which is a short walk from the town.

A small mountain town with a lot of history!
A small mountain town with a lot of history! Worth a visit, if for no other reason then to see the Temple of Apollo, quite possibly the third most famous landmark in Greece (after the Acropolis and Mount Olympus), where the Oracle if Delphi foretold her prophecies. Be sure to budget enough time to see neighboring Araxova!

Delphi is an impressive site comprising many ruins, some partially rebuilt, others as they were found. To see the entire site requires quite a hike up the mountain(we did not go all the way up) but I was told it was well worth it. The day we went it was quite hot and there is little shade on the site. On a hot day perhaps see the Museum first and see the sight late in the afternoon, or the site early in the morning.

We all loved Delphi!
We all loved Delphi! It was unique in it's asthetics and exploring the area was fascinating! Exploring the historic ancient ruins and museum was a great experience.
The soulvakia shop was delicious and the restaurant at the top of the stairs across from the soulvakia shop run by Lucas we also enjoyed a delicious meal also!
Our host, Dimitras, accommodated our late evening check-in. He provided helpful local information and a great dinner recommendation- Ta Skalakia restaurant. Orfeas hotel is a very clean and well kept vintage hotel. The European/Greek style breakfast was very good. The location was great, a short walk to restaurants and shops, and a 20 minute walk to the archeological sites and museum. Note that beds were firm, but a welcome rest in the nicely air conditioned room after a day of sightseeing.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay. George is a warm host.
Pitho is a great little hotel. We loved our private and quaint little terrace at the back of our room.
George also suggested some marvellous walks in addition to the archaeological sites.
Special thanks, also, to his friend George the taxi driver, who drove us one way from Delphi to Kalembaka (3 1/2 hours.....for him, a round trip of 7+ hours) A huge effort and worth the price.

The view was terrific and they served a nice breakfast. The room was just like the rooms I stayed in 30 years ago when I was an archaeology student in college, traveling through Greece on my studies, so was fun to experience with my kids. The hotel was clean and the people running it were nice. The room was generously sized. Parking was super easy to find on the street. We had a great stay!
Absolutely amazing place. We have selected this hotel because of the high rating and good price and everything is as it was described from the other guest: For the cold weather outside hotel was warm and clean, view is marvelous and owner was more than welcome. This is your place if you like hospitality and stay like in home.
This is an amzing place to stay in Delphi. The owner is so lovely: friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were absolutely spotless. The breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade cake. We were on a tour of ancient sites in Greece and this was our best accommodation. It was just perfect. Highly recommend.
This is a hotel in the town of Delphi. Since I made the reservation, they were very strict about check-in. At first they said they couldn't let my driver check in. Fortunately, I made it clear later that the hotel environment is very good, the price-performance ratio is very high, and it is a good hotel.
Amalia Hotel is an exceptional hotel, with magnificent architecture, the friendliest staff, perfect amenities and of course a fabulous breakfast buffet. We visit Delphi very often and Amalia Hotel is the no1 hospitality destination. Thank you once again for making our stay a remarkable experience.
Nice small hotel in a small city. Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice mountain view from the balcony, comfortable location.
It was very cold outside, but due to the strong heating system, we did not feel it.
A lot of restaurants and cafes around. Even small grocery shops that work till late.
The staff was exceptionally helpful to my family while we were staying there. They went out of their way to help with several requests and did it with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and was thankful for the underground parking and the nice breakfast in the morning.
The hotel has a nice lobby, friendly helpful staff suggested discount s for food a short walk away, nice clean room with balcony with a excellent view overlooking a large olive grove and water in the distance. Breakfast was excellent. Air conditioned , elevator.
I have returned to Amalia hotel after many years and it never disappoints. The location is superb, the views unique. Luckily most of the original design of the hotel has been preserved. Amalia continues being a gem.
Beautiful hotel with 1940's vibe (old wood banisters and plush carpet). Balcony view was spectacular. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the room, incredible breakfast.
We enjoyed the location, cleanliness, breakfast ($4). The ladies were helpful with directions and other needs. We would definitely recommend this small, authentic, vintage hotel.
The position is breathtaking, with a stunning view over the mountains all over to the sea.
The hotel is cozy and the room was really enjoyable, with a lot of space.
