I didn't have any reservation but they allowed me in. Since my legs were so bad they helped to change from 2nd floor to 1st floor and to bottom bed which was super helpful. Albergue also offered pilgrimage meal.

We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright.
Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place.
Great location and friendly staff.
This is a beautiful apartment located very close to the old town in Sarria and very close to the Camino route. A great place to stay and relax as part of our journey. It is a spacious 4 bedroom apartment which suited our needs and the sitting room was very pleasant.
Our host was lovely and arrived promptly to let us into the apartment. She was very helpful in guiding us to somewhere to eat, a great find. If ever in Sarria again we would definitely use this apartment.
We were greeted by Alejandra with wine, so sweet. she told us everywhere to see snd eat in town and her suggestions were spot on. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Marcella who serve breakfast was so kind and helpful. The pancakes with chocolate were especially good and she made sure to serve tasty gluten free foods to my friend. It is a great hotel, and a great value.
Property was very clean. Host was super helpful. She gave suggestions on where to eat and offered to call our next hotel to pick up our luggage without cost. We were able to walk comfortably to our next hotel for the start of our Camino without lugging our luggage! Muchas gracias Laura😊
Ideal location, immaculate, and great attention to detail. For example, even though it is a nice hotel, they still understood that pilgrims want to wash their smelly clothes and provided a drying rack that hung easily out of the window. Perfectly sized mini fridge stocked with water.
location at top of town, (away from town bustle), right on the Camino & situated in the historical area of Sarria. our host Melissa was a joy. The room was so quaint & traditional. Cool little restaurant 2 mins away - pizza etc…. & early breakfast cafe less than 1 min away.
Everything. It was right on the Camino, extraordinarily super clean, beautiful garden to hang out in, and comfortable dorm beds. Christina, the albergue owner, was very helpful in orienting us to the sites of Sarria. We were very happy with this stay! Recommend highly.
The hostess, Marcella, could not have been more charming and open to meeting any client needs. She singlehandedly made an excellent and massive breakfast for all her guests. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the hotel is across the street from the Camino path.
This is a unique albergue/hotel directly on the Camino de Santiago. The owners/staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was available and excellent. Will definitely stay here again next Camino. Bypass the Sarria madness staying here!
This is a wonderful hotel, especially for a pilgrim on the Camino. I loved the location, the facilities and the helpful owners. In many regards, this was better than a few 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at on the Camino. Highly recommended.
El Malecon was clean and comfortable. I loved the location on the river and the restaurants downstairs added an ambience.
It was easy to find the arrows out of Sarria from El Malecon in order to follow the Camino route.
This was such a great place. We were having a Camino rest day. Lovely room, lovely people running the hotel. If we could have stayed here every night from Sarria to Santiago we would have.
Great location as right beside starting point if doing the Camino. Hotel had tea/coffee facilities and use of kitchen which was great. Really friendly and kind host. Highly recommend
