Beautiful historical sites, lovely stone work, churches that ring their bells for the hour & mass, beautiful community atmosphere, so wonderful to join millions of pilgrims who have walked for centuries from every place country nationality, speaking different languages. We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.MaryUnited States - 10Scored 10

Room on the ground floor was very spacious, bright. Lovely hot water, clean towels and toiletries provided. If doing the Camino walk id definitely recommend this place. Great location and friendly staff.

A great place to stay and relax as part of our journey. It is a spacious 4 bedroom apartment which suited our needs and the sitting room was very pleasant. Our host was lovely and arrived promptly to let us into the apartment. She was very helpful in guiding us to somewhere to eat, a great find. If ever in Sarria again we would definitely use this apartment.
