Cooma is a lovely town. Lots of Cafes. Murphy's was Great! Rosie's was YUM too. The Snowy Visitors centre a great idea to visit. The Salvos store has good clean choices too. The Cooma Thai was delicious and NB is a BYO.

We were just stopping for a night on the way to the snow but it's a nice little town with supermarkets and ski hire to pick up everything you need. Countryside is nice and a good mountain biking track too (Mt Gladstone).

The Monaro is spectacular country and Cooma has plenty of great atmosphere. It's always bustling with lots of activity from locals including graziers and their families coming into town and skiers on their way, or coming back, from the Snowy. Love all the shops and enjoyed dinner at the ex-Servicemen's Club.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town. The entry from the Canberra side looks as though it is for the young. We were in the old part of the town - much more to my liking (75 yo). Lovely to walk around and wonderful old homes and churches on the top of the hill behind the motel.

Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains.

Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains. Is quite a bustling small city now with many shops that seems to have thrived/come back to life post Covid. Plenty to see & do, great choice of restaurants & Cafes. It just needs a Dan Murphy's, a Big W & a Hungry Jacks & it would be perfect :-)

Cooma makes a pleasant stop-over, perhaps for a meal or toilet break, but make arrangements to stay somewhere else. The accommodation options are limited, expensive and not up to modern standards. The location of the town to the NSW alpine region is clearly the reason why these facilities can charge excessive rates.

Great location, right on the main street. Value for money for a one bedroom room. Very easy check in and check out process. Free wifi was really good. Across from the hotel are fast food options and some shops which was handy. We were able to park right outside our room which is helpful. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

Large property with clean rooms and good facilities. All amenities have been thoughtfully provided. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids and there were 3 large fully furnished bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had two twin beds plus a single so it was ample space for all of us.

Holidays with 4 kids under 7 is a challenge however, Woodvale at Cooma was the perfect solution. Each day the kids couldn't wait to feed the animals and explore the property. The Cat (Berry) stole the show. The house is comfortable and the heaters provide enough warmth.

Because it was during the week and off-peak time. I was upgraded to a room with a view, overlooking Cooma gorge. The lady in the office was so helpful and lovely. It was super quiet and peaceful. The bed was fabulous, the sheets were lovely, white and crisp.

Poor. Long life ‘milk’ not touched as it is full of preservatives & not in any way healthy. Also paper cups for coffee, shameful. Biscuits, not bread or toppings, cheap. I did not consider this breakfast.

The property couldn’t be more central in Cooma. Close to everything you need. The rooms were old but had everything you would expect, and it all worked, including a lock-up garage for motorcycles.
