The room was brand new and everything was spotlessly clean and functional except the shower as the water ran past the drain grates and towards the door.
Room was peaceful and quiet.
Receptionist lady was lovely.

We were just stopping for a night on the way to the snow but it's a nice little town with supermarkets and ski hire to pick up everything you need. Countryside is nice and a good mountain biking track too (Mt Gladstone).

The Monaro is spectacular country and Cooma has plenty of great atmosphere. It's always bustling with lots of activity from locals including graziers and their families coming into town and skiers on their way, or coming back, from the Snowy. Love all the shops and enjoyed dinner at the ex-Servicemen's Club.

Lovely atmosphere in our part of town.
Lovely atmosphere in our part of town. The entry from the Canberra side looks as though it is for the young. We were in the old part of the town - much more to my liking (75 yo). Lovely to walk around and wonderful old homes and churches on the top of the hill behind the motel.

Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains.
Great town at the foot of the snowy mountains. Is quite a bustling small city now with many shops that seems to have thrived/come back to life post Covid. Plenty to see & do, great choice of restaurants & Cafes. It just needs a Dan Murphy's, a Big W & a Hungry Jacks & it would be perfect :-)

Cooma makes a pleasant stop-over, perhaps for a meal or toilet break, but make arrangements to stay somewhere else. The accommodation options are limited, expensive and not up to modern standards. The location of the town to the NSW alpine region is clearly the reason why these facilities can charge excessive rates.
We"ve stayed here 3 times in the past year and have found consistent quality during each stay. The owners do their best to meet any requests that we have.
Location is the best - right across the park/bus stop and several cafes and food places minutes away. Coles is a 3-minute walk away and the motel has a well-eqipped kitchen to store groceries & prepare meals.
Highly recommend Cooma iMotel - the owners work hard to make it the best motel in Cooma!
Very well presented guest house. We enjoyed the living area, generously stocked kitchen, and private outdoor area. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative and made entry and our entire stay very smooth. Fresh sheets and towels were well presented and appreciated by our group. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Cooma, highly recommended.
We stayed in the Family room (2 bedrooms). The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were nice and clean all around. We used the microwave to heat meals which was very convenient. Our view towards the hills/mountains was lovely. The contact free check in was smooth and the one time we messaged reception, it was answered promptly.
Great location, right on the main street. Value for money for a one bedroom room. Very easy check in and check out process. Free wifi was really good. Across from the hotel are fast food options and some shops which was handy. We were able to park right outside our room which is helpful. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.
It was a one-night stay on our way from Sydney to Thredbo. We have done this a few times before and the hotels were basic, freezing and uncomfortable. This as a pleasant surprise. Lovely staff who made everything easy (contactless but easy). Cozy and loved the electric blankets.
Large property with clean rooms and good facilities. All amenities have been thoughtfully provided. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids and there were 3 large fully furnished bedrooms. One of the bedrooms had two twin beds plus a single so it was ample space for all of us.
The Nebula Motel was perfect for my one night stay in Cooma. A last minute booking that I did not regret! The team were super welcoming and gave me a great dinner recommendation, Pha's Thai - it is a MUST TRY! The room was clean and comfortable and exactly what I needed.
I travel to Cooma all the time for work and I don't stay anywhere but the High Country Motel! The staff are so lovely and accomodating, the rooms are clean, the beds are super comfy and best of all, my dog gets to stay with me! Highly recommend!
We would highly recommend this hotel staff very friendly and helpful and room was spacious and very clean location very close to everything MacDonalds , restaurant's ect all within walking distance will definitely use them again
The Alpine Hotel at Cooma is simply brilliant. Great staff, beautiful updated facilities with with comfortable rooms upstairs. Food was also excellent. Can't wait to come back for another visit. Cheers guys!
The Host is very friendly and accommodating. The house is very cool we’re tempted to have staycation rather than going to the snowy haha. The place is so comfy and complete facilities. Thanks, Tony!
Gets the job done, good value for money. Being just out of town centre makes it quiet, not that Cooma is a bustling metropolis, but it makes a difference, would stay again
Our stay was very comfortable. Reverse cycle air conditioning and electric blankets kept us wonderfully warm. The owners are doing a wonderful job updating the hotel.
Very accommodating and very easy communication with Michelle. House was clean and very homely, will definitely come back again and highly recommend for others too.
