Attard is a quiet and romantic neighbourhood with amazing properties. You feel the grandeur of a different era. It has lots of charm and places to see. However, I did not find too many shops in the area. The restaurants are good but not impressive.

Attard is in a central position between Valetta and Mdina with regular buses to both. It is a charming village and we went to Jalies a high end coffee and light bites cafe (but does burgers, pasta too). It is walking distance frm Balzan, another lovely village, with plenty of places to eat and drink. Zmerc bar is lively and brings endless free tapas- very good value and fun!

Nice residential area, but limited bars and restaurants.
Nice residential area, but limited bars and restaurants.
We visited the San Anton Gardens, which are free. Pleasant walk, probably allow 1 hour or so.
We ate at Melita Gardens - snack menus and full menus on offer. Italian food/ sandwiches. Beers and cocktails. Nice outside area, with sunny and shaded tables.
Saracino's Cafe was a pleasant neighbourhood restaurant; good family style restaurant serving italian food. Small outside seating area, larger inside areas.
Shopping is very limited, small supermarket - Scotts - was the only one we found.

The village & architecture is beautiful and feels very safe to walk through at night. Very peaceful. Lovely walks through the San Anton Gardens adjacent to the Presidential Palace. Easy access to public transport.
It’s a beautiful calm place, the staff are perfect, from the check in to the restaurants to the spa. There is always space around the very chilled pool area, lunch was so relaxed with wonderful service and food. The spa is amazing, the rooms are exceptional. We loved this hotel after spending a very long time wondering if it would be good since it wasn’t in the area we’d originally considered. It’s not often we think we really should have spent our entire holiday in one place but at this hotel we did.
We spent 5 days in an executive room and mostly by the pool area. It was extremely relaxing and quiet. Staff were exceptionally friendly. We were able to take our pet dog with us almost everywhere in the hotel. The Executive lounge was a nice bonus albeit the opening hours and variety of items should be looked at. The afternoon tea was very very good and unexpected to be honest. Overall a wonderful relaxing few days spent and would recommend this to anyone visiting our island.
Epitome of 5 star hotel. Yes it’s an old hotel, but it runs like a dream. The 5 star quality reflects in their staffs, food quality (i tried rickshaw, italian food at the villa, summer kitchen and breakfast), spa and amenities. One of the best salon chain in Malta also has a branch inside the hotel. Going to Mdina is only a short bus ride or bolt away.
Beautiful and stylish hotel with beautiful grounds. Situated in a quiet residential area with the lovely St Antonio Gardens next to it. Lots of history - hotel was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh. Hotel boasts a classical facade with tastefully furnished interior. Very clean and modern rooms. We looked forward to returning to our room every day.
The charm of the hotel, and the location, far from the mass tourism and close to the airport which was just perfect to end our trip before flying back home.
We also went to the Michelin Star hotel which was a crazy good deal in terms of value for money.
The size of the pool.
The rooms a generous size with good quality furnishings. Incredibly comfortable with beautiful linen and wonderful pillows. The staff are very attentive and genuinely warm. I think this hotel has the highest standards and I always enjoy staying.
This hotel is pure luxury and enjoyment. We stayed here for five days because we wanted to stay slightly outside the touristy areas of Malta, and we were absolutely thrilled with every detail of the hotel. We will absolutely stay here again!
We had a lovely terrace view of the back of the property. The restaurants in the hotel were excellent and the staff was amazing. I would definitely return and encourage others to book your next visit to Malta with Corinthia Palace.
We stayed in an executive room and it was super spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The breakfast was fabulous. The hotel was centrally located with good access to public transport.
Everything the hotel is beautiful, the staff go out of their way to assist you, the food was great they accommodated for gluten free. I will definitely be coming back.
This is a very beautiful hotel in a nice location. Breakfast and dinner are very good. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
