It is a lovely, rustic country house filled with love, laughter and warmth.
The breakfast was outstanding.
It is situated outside of Barolo so you need a car to visit the many lovely villages. Or you can hike to the different villages. The Piedmonte area is magical.

We spent two wonderful nights at this guest house. Beatrice was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided an amazing yummy breakfast both mornings and had some great suggestions for eating and aperitif's. The location was very convenient to winery's and sightseeing. If we ever go back to Barolo, we would definitely stay here again.

We loved the proximity to town to the restaurants, the property had several areas in which to sit and drink in the view. Many vineyards surrounded the property which added to the spectacular view.

This stay was my favorite of all time. This is perfect for wine lovers who come to discover Barolo. The location is wonderful with breathtaking views and only a short walking distance away from the town center of Barolo. The house is in rustic style, decorated tastefully with beautiful antique furniture. However, the best part of our stay was the owner. A kind and generous man whose estate makes the very best wine we've had in Barolo (in our opinion), and who will be happy to share his passion and endless knowledge with visitors. Thank you for everything, staying at Il Ciabot was a dream!

Barolo is a very pretty town surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. We travelled by car and it was easy to visit lots of pretty towns in this beautiful region.
Barolo offers a selection of restaurants and pizzeria offering very good food, service and of course great wines and everyone was very welcoming.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region.
A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. Barolo was a great town to be in and biking was phenomenal there.

Nice, tiny, idyllic village albeit too touristic and (consequently) overpriced wines in the several wine stores. You'll presumably get same products cheaper at your home country! Suggest to make arrangements to visit the manifold wineries instead.

Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more.
Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing.
The town Alba is also worth a visit.
Cà San Ponzio, a beautiful country house managed by two welcoming brothers, exceeded my expectations in every way. The prime location near Barolo made it a perfect base for exploring the area. The facilities were fantastic, providing everything one could need, from a delightful breakfast to a well-stocked wine cellar and enjoyable aperitivo. The hospitality extended by the brothers created an inviting and warm atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend Cà San Ponzio for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
The owner and staff of this beautiful property next to a vineyard and minutes from the Barolo and Alba were outstanding. The property is very well maintained and in a quiet location. I had a massage in the vineyard, yoga by the pool, a local vintner did a wine tasting and there were numerous wineries nearby to do wine tasting of Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco. The food out the property was excellent and the region overall has some of the best food we’ve had after visiting many regions. Can’t wait to go back.
A perfect stay at Casa Svizzera! Beautiful room with a perfect view. Nice that we could live in the center of Barolo.
Free bike rental so we could visit La Morra and Monforte d'Alba. The people who worked at Casa Svizzera was really helpfull and kind, the manager even drove us to Alba train station for free. Breakfast was perfect aswell. We are really happy with the stay at Casa Svizzera.
Antionella actually drove us to an appointment and picked us up three hours later. I couldn’t be happier with this property, nor Antoinella. We usually stay at a hotel and not an apartment. I would definitely consider doing this again. Antoinella, I don’t speak Italian, but I hope this translates for you. You are the dearest person and we thank you so very much.

We liked everything about our stay in Ciabot delle Aie. The accommodations were very comfortable. Located just beneath the town of Barolo, the location was ideal. The hosts were wonderful people. Franco and Silvana shared their time with us and made us feel very welcome. Diego provided a superb wine tasting.
Picturesque guest house in the middle of Barolo wine district. Excellent breakfast, very nice SPA and nice rooms. Short walking distance to great restaurant (Buon Padre) and great family vineyard (Luca Morenco). Barolo city center is wonderful!
Mostly we loved our friendly host. We arrived early and we were able to drop our bags off which we really appreciated . We loved the location being right in town and a cafe very close for the morning coffee. A beautiful dinner at Rosso Barolo.
Excellent stay in centre to Barolo. Felt right at home, with home made breakfast and welcoming owners. They had great recommendations of restaurants in the different towns and were always available to help
Great breakfast and the hotel restaurant was excellent. Make sure you meet Antonio, the waiter superiore. The winery tasting room is in the hotel. Be sure to make a reservation, it was well worth it.
The apartment was well stocked with teas, organic teas, coffee eggs etc so everything we needed. Location! Easy walk into Barolo. Road was a little noisy if you opened the windows at night.
Luchana, her husband and the staff are super nice.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable.
Great views when you sit outside.
Around the hotel there are many beautiful walks you can take.
Rafaella is an amazing hostess and you can be sure you'll be very comfortable at her house. On top of that she is an incredible cooker and you will have a perfect taste of Italy.
