It is very quiet beautiful German town with small neat houses (life boils in the center). Location is good - you may get by railways to any part of the Germany or even Europe using connecting trains from nearby cities. It is stretched out - would be more convinient getting the car (especially if you want to see the sights).

The Klingenmuseum was well worth the the entire trip!
The Klingenmuseum was well worth the the entire trip! The exhibits are excellent and the staff enthusiastic and knowledgeable. A visit to the Wüsthof factory store is also a good idea and if you like Haribo gummy bears, well, Solingen seems the place to go.
It is a house in a residential part of Solingen. The kitchen is good and well equipped, and the bathroom is excellent.
The beds are comfortable.
The owners live on the ground floor, and were at home to welcome us, hand over the keys and inform us about the area.
We stayed on the second floor, and we enjoyed the view over Solingen and surrounding area.
There are shops and supermarkets within easy walking distance.
Restaurant Weegerhof, nearby, provides good home cooked German and Croatian food which is excellent value for money.
Nice clean hotel with a very good location, walking distance from city center. Reception team is helpful and friendly. There is an acceptable size car park space. Staff also helps for parking if parking lot is full. Free wifi easy and works. Staff and hotel is also very careful with covid measures.
The accommodation was great! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Very modern and clean. We had everything we needed and the location to the City centre was in walkable distance. Also very close linked to the cycle path which was perfect for jogging.
Very nice, clean and modern rooms. Check-in is all digital which I like. There is a phone number for prompt assistance. The sofa bed was firm which I loved. Small but effective gym. Great WiFi. Overall I was comfortable and happy with this hotel choice.
New hotel, clean and nice rooms. Great location: not far from Solingen city center and Botanic garden, Clinic, etc.
Friendly staff. Code access to the hotel and room(s), good WiFi, parking and open space on the ground floor.
Support of the owner. Was so kind. He navigate me during the night how to reach the hotel on fastest and cheapest way.
In the property there are all facilities I needed.
There was even coffee machine with coffee .
A historical structure on the outside, the hotel welcomes you with its modern interior and fresh conveniences. The view out of the window is enchanting, the village of Gräfrath lies at your feet.
Room was clean. For us it was a fine hotel for an one or two nights stay. Their is two supermarket nearby. Overall our stay was fine only the fan and the warmth was the problem.
The front desk and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is a reasonable walk to the train station and a short walk to a very lovely park.
