The best accommodation we had on Iceland. Everything was perfect, very modern cottage! And private hot tub was the best after long days of driving. Very friendly and nice hosts living on with their farm next door. Possibility to book a guided horse ride with one of their icelandic horses, which was a magical experience! The cottage was well equipped, clean and absolutely cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here and can fully recommend!

We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

Kría Cottages is set in peaceful Skeljabrekka, 10 km from Borgarnes town centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and views of the Andakílsá River, surrounding mountains and Snæfellsjökull Glacier in the distance. The house was very cozy and had everything we could need, even some board games! The location was very convenient, quite close from Reykjavik and from Snæfellsnes peninsula.
