A real gem. Central location. Spacious comfortable bedroom. Lovely shower. Good breakfast. Attractive courtyard. We ate lunch in the hotel cafe and the salads were good. We had a two night get stay and enjoyed beautiful Mijas and this lovely modern boutique hotel contributed greatly to our enjoyment. Be sure to go to the botanical gardens and enjoy the incredible views. We hope to stay here again one day.

Very nice and helpful owners. The house is located between some old trees in the nature and it is quiet there. Nevertheless, it is easily accessible and you are in 10-15 minutes in the village, at the supermarket or the beach and in about 20 minutes at the airport. We liked the vacation very much!

I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations.
I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations. I remember the town from 50 years ago so maybe I'm biased. It has managed to keep a certain amount of charm but in a way has grown too large for its own good. In my opinion there are too many souvenir shops and too many below standard restaurants/ bars. I had the feeling that I was a commodity - certainly not everywhere but enough too blunt the pleasure. The farmhouses that were onced dotted through the hills have been replaced by an urban sprawl & even the odd gated community. A pity - I leave with very mixed feelings

We decided to stay in the Calahonda area because it looked like a good central location to explore. We were pleased with our choice of location because it is central to visit other locations by car. Mijas old town was very close, would recommend visiting. It is a very beautiful white city although a little more expensive. The hotel offered good breakfast with a great variety, not too expensive (12euros per face). The coffee was not to my liking, tasted a bit like cocoa. Other than that would recommend this hotel.
