A real gem. Central location. Spacious comfortable bedroom. Lovely shower. Good breakfast. Attractive courtyard. We ate lunch in the hotel cafe and the salads were good. We had a two night get stay and enjoyed beautiful Mijas and this lovely modern boutique hotel contributed greatly to our enjoyment. Be sure to go to the botanical gardens and enjoy the incredible views. We hope to stay here again one day.

Sharon was the perfect host - a quick explanation of everything and contactable but left us to it. The house itself is lovely and there are so many little touches everywhere that really add to the charm. The location is unbeatable in our opinion, right in the heart of nature but close (by car) to Mijas pueblo and Fuengirola. We met Kevin at the end of our stay who was very friendly too.

I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations.
I recommend Mijas but with certain reservations. I remember the town from 50 years ago so maybe I'm biased. It has managed to keep a certain amount of charm but in a way has grown too large for its own good. In my opinion there are too many souvenir shops and too many below standard restaurants/ bars. I had the feeling that I was a commodity - certainly not everywhere but enough too blunt the pleasure. The farmhouses that were onced dotted through the hills have been replaced by an urban sprawl & even the odd gated community. A pity - I leave with very mixed feelings

We decided to stay in the Calahonda area because it looked like a good central location to explore. We were pleased with our choice of location because it is central to visit other locations by car. There is an abundance of supermarkets; eateries and places of interest. We would definitely stay in Calahonda again.

The America two-bedroom apartment has a large balcony where you can people watch, nice bathrooms with great showers and is very spacious and bright. Thomas was an incredibly attentive host and was a wealth of information regarding the town and area, including dining choices. The included breakfast at Muskova cafe was perfect and the servive there was very attentive. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer property in Mijas Pueblo. Thanks Thomas for an incredible stay!
