Mildura is a large regional city with lots of features right on the River Murray.
Plenty of good 'watering holes' and an assortment of great eateries/restaurants.
Lots to see and do. Really well worth a visit!

What I liked most was the experience of a holiday and proximity. The service and facilities are clean and tidy. Location is fantastic with shopping close. What was difficult was there was no drainage for the bathroom and unheated pool. Though the jumping pillow was a complete success!!! Next time I will try to get a disabled cabin as it was a bit difficult to negotiate, however if my daughter and I are welcome we will definitely come back.

Mildura for a small town is quite spread out which surprised me.
For those who are older or have mobility problems, the waterfront area may be a difficult walk either over a bridge with steps or a longer route around. It is worth it though a nice area.
A lot of the attractions in and around Mildura are dated and in need of some love but they are fun non the less.
We would recommend Old Wentworth Goal, Mildura Paddle Steamers, Garden of Hope (for kids), Woodsies Gem Store, Mildura Brewery Pub.
For those with Kids a great pub to eat at is The Gateway that has an indoor playzone.

Plenty to see and do in Mildura.
Plenty to see and do in Mildura. The NRMA caravan park was so fun, so we spent plenty of time there. The river is great. The free water play park in town is great for young kids. Bobby & me cafe is excellent (food & location). Woodsie's Gem Shop was quite cool.
It is a great place to visit, very comfortable if accommodation has air-conditioning and pool.

Could easily live here, so much to see & do, albeit speed limit on some very wide roads with huge median strips needs to be increased, quite frustrating, but once you get to where your going there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops & sites.

No tv in main bedroom, we are husband and wife and like most married couples our age we don’t sleep in the same room, so just a bit tuff for husband who had to sleep in a single bed that the mattress was very hard
EVERYTHING! From the location, the rooms, the facilities, the parking, the team! The customer service you receive when you get there. It was absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are big, love the outdoor seats where you can enjoy the outdoors just outside your room. The service, the breakfast was simple but elegant and just perfect. I loved it here. Definitely coming back when I’m at mildura again to visit my bf.
I paid for a queen bed and double bed and I received a queen bed and a single bed. Booking had listed two prices on their website and I paid for the dearer option which told me I was getting a Queen and Double bed. Instead I got the queen and single. My receipt stated 1 x Queen and 1 x Double bed in the room. I was not too impressed that I paid more for a cheaper room.
Location was close to central Mildura without being too close. Cabins were clean and comfy, pool with slide for the girls (pity about the weather lol) jumping pillow, pedal car hire (even a tandem one), friendly staff was a gr8 weekend away and hope to be back again for next years Mildura Netball Carnival.
A great experience to stay on a 1940s paddleboat that has been tastefully maintained and restored without losing its character. Paul was very helpful and obliging. We had two adjoining cabins. The open areas are very spacious and comfortable. Very nice to stay on the river in Mildura.
The apartment we stayed in was a good size, clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel is a short walk into the Mildura CBD and the riverfront, and there are some nice places to eat within walking distance. The receptionist who checked us in was friendly and welcoming.
Very hospitable host family. Dear little 5 year old Cody showed us to our room and professionally showed us all it's facilities.
Good sized room. Breakfast packs available at inexpensive price. Would return if ever in Mildura again.
Location was in a nice area opposite the river.
Cabins were a bit average. It was my first time staying at a Caravan Park.
It was not very private at times with other guests & children around your cabin.
The Big4 Mildura Getaway is a lovely caravan park to stay at. The cabins are always clean and comfortable and the outside areas of park are well maintained. The staff are always friendly and helpful too.
Lovely quiet setting for the cabins, and great facilities such as pool nearby. Great communication from staff to keep us updated on events within the park.
highly recommend this hotel, especially if you travel with your family. The villa is very clean, modern, you will rest assured to have a good stay there.
