An excellent place to find yourself in nature, I would say it would be better experienced outside of the rain season, but if you do decide to go within the rain season, make sure to pack enough clean clothing, But still super fun to hike in the rain, so beautiful so green.

Sabie is a lovely little town and we really enjoyed our stay. The vendors can be a bit of a bother when moving through the town as well as the local drivers are impatient, but over all we will definitely be seeing Sabie again in the future.

Kestell adventures offers great activities that we utilized. Very small town so its fine to stay for a weekend and experience but not much longer, if you not doing adventures activities, not much else to do.

    Picturesque, fresh mountains and views.

Picturesque, fresh mountains and views. Clean, crisp air and pure water at certain venues. The roads need help, but most areas in South Africa do. Abundant wildlife and vistas to choose from. Everything is rather close and easy to navigate.

Beautiful waterfalls in and around Sabie.

Beautiful waterfalls in and around Sabie. Roads getting there a bit of a challenge though. Lots of good eateries. Day trips around the area recommended. Many hiking trails for the more energetic. I braaied every day, as nothing beats a dip in the pool and braaiing on the huge deck with the fabulous view.

The ambience of the place is amazing 👏 I have always been booking my husband when he does his project management duties of our new house in Sabie. I fell in love with the place without even physically seeing it. Everytime, Dublin provided a safety space for my husband. Innocent and Susan have always been amazing hosts. The reception and hospitality received from Innocent is exceptional. He is a young man but knows how to treat his guests so warmly that it will be difficult to use another establishment for the overnight stays at Sabie.

I love the secluded location and the mountain views. The staff was really amazing!!! I actually loved everything about, it was my second time visiting Misty Mountain. And I definitely intend to return. The lodge has enough activities to occupy you if you don't want to go to sightseeing. At the same time Sabie town is 30 minutes away so there's plenty to do there as well.

Very nice, quiet and comfortable accommodation. The host Karla is friendly and hospitable. The dogs wait for you every morning to play with them. Beautiful garden with the river Sabie where you can swim. The bicycle room was spacious and clean. The communal kitchen has everything you need, but you must bring your own basic ingredients if you want to prepare the food.

Amazing guest lodge! Now Very high level of service. It is very well maintained and clean but you can see that it is a place with some history and character. This was part of the charm for us. Sabie is also a nice town and an amazing start for the Panorama route! Would love to come again in the future.

It's such a lovely and picturesque place. I absolutely loved our time there. We were treated to a delicious breakfast at the stables. Jens and Jaco were stunning hosts. We will definitely be returning to River Suites Sabie. I loved having the river so close. We could hear the water from our room.
