We did not have an opportunity to explore the town as we drove from Manchester, NH on a Friday in pouring rain and bumper to bumper traffic to get there and had just an hour or so before the concert we were attending (Alternate Routes). The band plays a two show concert for their fans every December and we plan to make it two days or more next year. charming, affluent, under-the-radar New England beach town. Strong Puritan and WASP influences. Good for those who don’t want to shell out big for a Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard type of vacation and dislike the long commute & flashiness of Hamptons.
