It was a fantastic stay! The instructions were very clear. They great us with a kind welcome note. The room was clean and comfortable. We walked down to the beach and enjoyed a nice dinner right next door.

We were in the area for a Sacred Heart University event. The hotel's location makes it a good choice for either SHU or Fairfield University events. Plenty of choice of restaurants and handy grocery store .

This is an amazing place to stay.

This is an amazing place to stay. A special island in the world of chain hotels. Lovely caring owners. Great talks. Great history about this house. Rooms are so sweet and made with love. Truly special. Thank you for a relaxing stay. I will be back in Indian summer.

We did not have an opportunity to explore the town as we drove from Manchester, NH on a Friday in pouring rain and bumper to bumper traffic to get there and had just an hour or so before the concert we were attending (Alternate Routes). The band plays a two show concert for their fans every December and we plan to make it two days or more next year. Hopefully we will be able to explore a little more then.

It's a cute place in a good location, but it really needs to be scrubbed top to bottom for me to recommend. Advertising was deceiving as it was not clear that it has exterior entrances to the rooms.

charming, affluent, under-the-radar New England beach town.

charming, affluent, under-the-radar New England beach town. Strong Puritan and WASP influences. Good for those who don’t want to shell out big for a Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard type of vacation and dislike the long commute & flashiness of Hamptons.
