Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown areaJoAnneUnited States

(One block from the bus terminal makes it interesting, but not too challenging most of the time.) High-ceiling modern loft living, reserved one day at a time. What’s not to love? Don’t expect a bellhop or hotel amenities. Security is on-site and attentive to what’s going on. So no parties, inside or out.
