Loved our stay, the room was very spacious for a motel and very clean. I usually get sniffly in motels if they are stuffy but this one I felt fine. Clean linen, TV with Netflix etc, full kitchen - Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, crockery, toaster etc.
The location was perfect as we were catching a concert at Te Ahu Library which is right across the street.
Bonus was the ability to bring our dog, ensured we brought her lockable cage so she stayed in her area - a dog park nearby too which is awesome.

Good location that’s close to all amenities, we enjoyed relaxing and watching sky tv, the wifi had good reception and kids had fun in the pool. It was a nice comfortable stay

Pretty much the last most populated city in Northland if youre heading further north to Cape Reinga. Kaitaia is a great little city. Hub of traditional Maori culture & people. good place. Peek a Boo Backyard Eatery is a cool upbeat urban feel, eco friendly place to eat. I sat there for 3 hours at a comfortable table indoors, doing work from my laptop, enjoying a pot of ginger, lemon and Manuka honey tea. The guys at the Z petrol station on the main drag were exceptionally accomodating, when I placed a hot drinks order for 6 people, ahead of my afternoon meeting. The mobil station has a brilliant self car wash with a high powere water gun.

Kaitaia is a great base for visiting the far north and places like Ahipara and the 90 Mile Beach. It is a laid back place that definitely is not touristy. I was cooked the best breakfast I've ever had at Kā Uri in Awanui 6kms down the road.IanNew Zealand - 8.0Scored 8.0

It’s is worst place to live with your family specially if you are having kids with you. We felt itchy after sleeping on the Pathetic matter. I have attached the photos of my daughter. I personally would not recommend this property to no one at any cost.
