Very nice and helpful owner, bungalows set in lush vegetation with a hammock, not too close to each other. Very peaceful but walking distance to some nice restaurants. Good breakfast, you can choose from several options (Thai rice soup or fried rice, different styles of eggs, pancakes) and there's some fresh fruit. Very uncomplicated scooter rental, thanks a lot!
Boasting a balcony with river views, a private beach area and a garden, Walk in homestay can be found in Ko Kood, close to Ao Jark Beach and 1 km from Khlong Hin Beach.

Very cosy and nice place, location is really good too as it's among the garden! Would totally recommend it. And the beach seemed to me as the best one!

Suan Nai was a lovely peaceful place to stay on the island. It had a restaurant and some supplies (a small shop you could say) on site. We loved the rooms and the hammocks on the terrace. The aircon was amazing and the rooms were spacious. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to some local restaurants and 15 minutes to a beach.
Located on Klong Chao Beach, High Season Pool Villas & Spa offers villas with private pool and free Wi-Fi. The property features a spa, fitness centre and library.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special.
It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.
The bungalows are all facing the sea. They are basic, but clean and comfortable. They have all you need. The resort overlooks a secluded beach which is used most of the times only by the guests of the resort and often you can be alone in the beach. The water is crystal clear and you have the feeling to be in heaven 😉Besides the resort there are two good vibes bars. Perfect place for sunset and sipping a cold chang. Khlong chao beach is less than 1 km away and seems lively especially in the evening but not overcrowded
If you’re looking for a typical beach resort on a white sandy beach, this is not the resort for you.
If you love having uninterrupted sea views from your bedroom though, this is perfect.
Simple rooms but with some luxuries (a fridge, a kettle in each room…)
Friendly hosts, thank you Peter for your warm welcome and all the advice!
Fantastic snorkeling at your doorstep!
And there’s also a great fish restaurant and a minimart just around the corner.
We absolutely loved our stay here and would love to come back!
Everything! Gumm and Jan (no clue how to spell her name) are just wonderful people who make you feel right at home. The coffee and also the food are very good. We've been traveling together for 10 years and this was the first time we didn't lock our room.
The nearest beach is about 1 minute away, but you can also use one of their kayaks (for free!) to get to "Neverland-Beach", which is also accessible by bike. We had the best time, thank you once again!

The bang bao beach near to the hotel is really nice, even if the hotel beach itself was a bit of a shock to us - We also liked the big room (Sky) with the bathtub etc. Staff was super kind, but partially very unexperienced. Breakfast and food were also "OK" but nothing special - for the price we hoped for a bit more but would probably go either with a smaller room next time, or somewhere else for the same price...
Best place in Thailand, with a MINUS!!
I score 10 the people working at Soneva. They are very professional, truly dedicated to you, with deep empathy.
I score 10 the food experience. The Chef Chris (French) is very versatile in cooking your very favorite dish.
I score 10 the location. Really private, exclusive, naturally fused in the nature. Facing the best beach in the island.
Everage room. Nothing special. Just matras ac and small shelf. No chair no frige. And big holes in the wall in the bathroom so all mosquitos and other bugs can enter the room all the time.
Prices in restaurant more then high. Mango sticky rice 250 bat. I am 2 month in Thailand never see price like that
The best thing about the hotel is the staff they are so nice and friendly and they will help you with basically with everything you need. The beach is one of the top beaches in Thailand and it just in front of the property The breakfast is so tasty and affordably and available until midday and later
Small local family run resort on a quiet beautiful beach with small restaurant that you can sit & chill all day. They could make the food to suit my allergy (gluten free) and that made my holiday a happy one. I really want to stay there again and will make it longer next time :)
It’s in the name. The view is wonderful. The environment is amazing. The room comfortable and clean. Good bed and quiet aircon. It is remote and has a calm and natural atmosphere. Close to the fishing village. Great place to relax and get away from civilization.
The bungalows are set in a beautiful well-maintained garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves absolutely delicious food, some of the best we had in Thailand. Our bungalow was extremely comfortable and well equipped
Great location and hosts. Very easy to rent a bike or go out on a canoe. Great seafood restaurant next door and 1 min away from the beach. Perfect place for someone who is looking for an alternative to resorts. +Very friendly pets
The property is run by very good people. They were very nice and helpful. They helped us know the island better and helped us make the most of our time. I would recommend the accommodation to other travels as well.
We stay one month in Thailand and Suan Nai Kokut Resort was the best place where we stay! Beautiful atmosphere. Clean room. Healpfull and friendly staff. Simple and good breakfast. Highly recommend!
The room was great, but the bathroom was really ugly, do not mach 4* in my opinion. good breakfast, nice surfing and swimming equipment on the beach. Good bar and hotel area.
