Suan Nai Kokut Resort, hotel in Ko Kood

Featuring a terrace with mountain views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Suan Nai Kokut Resort can be found in Ko Kood, close to Ao Ngamkho Beach and 1.3 km from Sai Daeng Beach.

Suan Nai was a lovely peaceful place to stay on the island. It had a restaurant and some supplies (a small shop you could say) on site. We loved the rooms and the hammocks on the terrace. The aircon was amazing and the rooms were spacious. It was a short 5-10 minute walk to some local restaurants and 15 minutes to a beach.

    Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.

Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special. It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous. .

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer. The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes. We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.

This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax. I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.

The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something) However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel. The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.

Nai and his family are one of the friendliest, kindest people I met in about 20 years of traveling. He just picked us up from the hotel we stayed the night before (without asking), helped with bookings (Songkran time!), brought me back from the motorbike rental to the Resort and more... just lovely people. The resort is in a very green area, just a couple of hundred meters away from the Beach. it's in a very good condition, nice bungalows.

The location is extraordinary - away from the bustling world - practically in the jungle and about 400 m from sea: peaceful and haven of rest. Bit worried about the future as there is an increase in the amount of tourists coming to Koh Kut, and of course more facilities are being built - perhaps overcrowding and then it is not so zen anymore. The family work together in team to provide the best services for their guests.

A great place to stay on this beautiful island! Spotlessly clean and well maintained place and surroundings. They had it all, accommodation, restaurant and a shop. We had the room upstairs and we were very happy with our accommodation. We also rented scooters onsite. A nice and welcoming family made us feel like home. Thank you and all the best! Great location, lovely beaches just a short drive away. We loved Koh Kood!

Beautiful hotel with such a friendly staff. Rooms are good quality and spacious. That also have free kayaks at the property that can be taken to the sea via a small river. Good motorbikes are available for rental. They also have a restaurant and convince store at the property. Even though there was no vegetarian options in the menu, they made vegetarian thai food without fish sauce and egg for my mother.

This place has been the highlight of our trip around Thailand, and we have just booked to come back for three weeks again. The bungalows are lovely, the bay that the hotel is located in is just perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. If you appreciate nature and peace and quiet, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The service at Medee was exceptional. When I fell ill during my stay, the staff went above and beyond to help me, get me to the right treatment (luckily the Ko Kood hospital is close by) and made sure I was okay.
