Garry was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is cozy with everything you need. The scones on arrival was a bonus! Walking around the farms we saw cows, sheep, loads of kangaroos and a wombat. We will definitely be back.
It's a nice little town. Great eating options as there are cafes and fast food outlets. The Woolworth had everything we wanted. Didn't get the chance to visit Lithgow small arms though. Lake Lyell is not far away and well worth the visit. Would be a good base to visit the 4WD tracks around.

Was only there one night .
Got a room at the back .
Was much better as a way from the car traffic .
The hot water for the shower was great .
And the heater was on low that made the room
Nice and warm .
Only issue was the bed wasn't comfy .

Lithgow like most small NSW country towns was ok.
Lithgow like most small NSW country towns was ok. Nothing that stands out of the ordinary, although I must mention that the folks were very friendly and would smile, greet you and make you feel like a local.

Lithgow is a delightful town.
Lithgow is a delightful town. Lots of interesting parks, shops and the Japanese Bath House - must visit! Must also visit Hassans Walls lookout and reserve. The Blast Furnace Park is another interesting and beautiful park to visit, with a walking track around the lake and wetlands. Well worth a visit.

Very cold town, only visit as father in law lives there. Good location for anyone wishing to visit the blue mountains and a good location for day trips to Mudgee and the wineries or to Bathurst for a lap around Mount Panorama.

Great food & atmosphere at the worries club, the wedding we came for at seclusions was a stunning landscape & we visited Hartley vale which is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately Public toilets are automatically locked at night.
New and Very clean place and nice staff, Central location in Lithgow, all exceeded my expectations.
With club service so you can enjoy a snap with your friends even late night or just a few mins away to good restaurants.
Around 45mis drive (off road) to grow worm tunnel and enjoy a 10km bush walk.
Good price even in Xmas time.
The motel is just outside the town, but close enough to get to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and had a fridge and microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. We did not eat at the restaurant so we can not comment on that. Overall we were happy with our stay.
The place was really clean and easy to find. There is plenty of parking. Room has a small fridge and kettle. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and had great water pressure. Woolworth was just down the road and there's a KFC across the road from the motel. McDonalds is not far away too.
Very comfortable beds, high quality bedding, electric blanket, good TV connected to internet. Great location for Lithgow. Wifi coverage and speed was good. For a couple used to warmer places and a surprise cold snap (1C), the bedding and electric blanket made us toasty!
The room was comfortable, warm and spacious, and I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I ate three times in the restaurant and the food was good. If I need to return to Lithgow for work, I would stay at the Zig Zag again. Many thanks.
This is an older style traditional country motel. Very clean, warm with all the necessities provided, and the car parked in front of the room.. It was very quiet as about 500m from highway.
Great value for money if passing through Lithgow.
The hotel was clean and reception staff nice. Room had everything you need for a night away. Food in the restaurant was great, the bar tender was lovely and kindly made me a drink from an old menu that i had seen online.
The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. We were on our way to Bathurst, this was the perfect spot for asleep. Not far from Lithgow town center either. Very pretty area and great views.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The food was better than expected, and kept informed of progress. Lots of seating in the bistro. Easy parking at the back of the hotel.
Loved how clean it was and great size room.
Loved that upon late check in they had put the heating on as well...will definitely be staying no where else when I go to Lithgow
Very comfortable motel, the managers were absolutely lovely, food at the restaurant was great, I needed a late check out and this was accommodated without any problems.
Very tidy and modern little spot to stay in Lithgow was perfect for our family, was laid out well for a wheelchair user too which is always a plus for us
