NIPPONIA Izumo Taisha Shrine Town ligger i Izumo, 15 minuters promenad från Former Taisha Station och 3,3 km från Hamayama Park. There were so quiet and peaceful and the staff was so kind.

Shokinkan ligger i Yasugi och erbjuder gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och rum med luftkonditionering. All of the meals were amazing! This was Shujin Ryori at its finest! We could not have asked for better. The tatami rooms were beautiful with lovely views of the temples and trees. The hotel is set inside the temple complex within a forest of very tall old cedars and bamboo on a mountainside. The air was fresh and clean. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered to drive us to the Adachi Museum of Art. We preferred to relax in the forest with the peace and quiet.

Ohashikan ligger 5 minuters bilresa från JR-stationen Matsue och 15 minuters promenad från slottet Matsue-jo. Här erbjuds boende i japansk stil med 2 inomhusbad, gratis parkering och gratis Wi-Fi. The room was spacious, clean and staff were very attentive to details.

Onsen Guest House Aobato no Su erbjuder boende i Matsue, ett stenkast från Tamatsukaruri Onsen. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Alla rum har en platt-TV. Amazing. There was free shuttle to the nearest JR station. We didn't book the shuttle beforehand but we were able to take it anyway. The breakfast was amazing and the location is very good. Very close to the bus stop which we had to take because JR operations were suspended due to heavy rain. Value was so good.

Hotel Gyokusen ligger i Matsue, 5,4 km från Shinjisjön, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. This was a luxurious treat and we all enjoyed it from the welcome by the general manager, the hot spring bath, the food, the room. One of our group had a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel provided transport by shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Communications via booking.com worked well.

Fukumakan har en nästan 200-årig historia och erbjuder rum i japansk stil och fristående stugor. Vissa har utsikt över Miho Bay. Proprietor and his staff are outstanding. The most interesting surroundings and “real Japanese” feeling of our trip.

OWL RESORT ARIFUKU ONSEN ligger i Gotsu, 13 km från Gotsu City General Citizen Center Milky Way Hall, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The hotel is clean and maintained in perfect condition. The environment was very nice and quiet . The crews are perfect. The dinner was of superb style and quality. The stay was fantastic.

Kinta no sato ligger i Hamada, 28 km från Gotsu City General Citizen Center Milky Way Hall och 47 km från Yunotsu Onsen, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum.

Ryokan Masuya ligger i Ōda, 12 km från Nima Sand Museum, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The front desk was great! they helped us booking rides to the silver mine and letting us know about the performance at a nearby shrine. I got sick later in the stay and the staff were very helpful getting some cold medicine in this small town with no pharmacy. The onsen/bathing facilities were small (as it is a small inn) and were very nice. The town was lovely but small so if you come at a busy time I suggest booking some of the restaurants. We did not book the food at the inn so I don't know how it was.
