Hotel Kifu Hotel Shiretoko is a 10-minute drive from Shiretoko National Park, which is assigned as a UNESCO World Heritage. Quiet, simple and homely onsen hotel. There's a private outdoor onsen that required booking but it's free. There's also public onsen. Everyone was friendly and rooms are cozy. Lovely view outside hotel and lovely tempura dinner and breakfast.

Offering affordable Japanese-style accommodations, Mimatsuso Ryokan is a 5-minute drive on the free shuttle from JR Asahikawa Train Station. They really go above and beyond here with their service to make you feel at home. They are always there to wish you a nice trip and always there to welcome you back. They brought us a cold tee and some snacks when it was hot and warm milk when it was cold. The attention to detail was insane. Breakfast was fantastic with slight variations every day.

Guests can relax in public hot-spring bath. i was sooo happy with my one night experience in this hotel , we took the free shuttle bus from Sapporo station to the hotel and it was relaxing and great , the staff were welcome and so nice with us especially one of the front desk staff ( a guy who was very kind and friendly , speaking english so well and was helping us a lot with everything especially with finding the best way to go back to Sapporo then to the airport for our flight ) , the room was amazing and big , the view was great too and it was well equipped with everything you need for your stay there , we tried the full body massage too and it was done perfectly and the highlight for me was the dinner and breakfast experience since we can not eat meat as muslims they prepare a full course Japanese seafood cuisine and it was the best way to try the Japanese food there , we got a complimentary Japanese dessert also , the hotel is near to many attractions in the area and it was walkable , there was a store in the hotel if u need something but also there is a grocery store nearby . Definitely worth the visit and if you are in Sapporo .

Featuring natural hot-spring baths and fresh Japanese meals, Kashoutei Hanaya Ryokan offers spacious rooms overlooking the Oyunuma River. Staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect and easily reachable with public transport (they do offer a pickup from Noboribetsu station). The room was cozy, clean and quiet. Dinner and breakfast was delicous and beautifully presented. The onsen was amazing!
