Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. Un hotel molt acollidor, on el personal estava en tot moment molt atent. Per poder disfrutar d'un experiencia amb la tradició japonesa crec que es ideal, per així descobrir la formar en la que vivien o viuen alguns japonesos. Molt recomanable.

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, Toraya is set in Gero, 48 km from Takayama Station and 49 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. 10 min form the train station, located at the river, and close to main shops. Short walk uphill to the Ghasso Village. Very accommodating English speaking staff. We tried the private onsen for 4000 Yen and it was fabulous! Very clean, big rooms with nice energy.

Offering a garden and garden view, Nagataki is located in Nakatsugawa, 13 km from Ōi and 34 km from Japan Taisho Village. The property is allergy-free and is situated 12 km from Enakyo Wonderland. Incredible place to stay. I spent two nights here, enjoying the local scenery and had the pleasure of eating some great food (which was an amazing set of back-to-back courses). I'd highly recommend it for people wanting to hike from Magome to Tsumago as the hosts were kind enough to drop us off at our start point via their bus.

I spent 1 month travelling around Japan, and I can say it’s the BEST experience in my trip. I loved everything, the family’s hospitality , the room’s view breathtaking and the amazing food, which was delicately prepared with organic local ingredients , so delicious, the best meal in Japan, for sure. Besides, in the breakfast they surprise my friend singing happy birthday in Portuguese, a beautiful gesture and unforgettable. Thank you so much for all, your family is a great team!!!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. We absolutely loved everything about Mozumo! We were two couples travelling together, we stayed for one night and had dinner all together in one of the rooms. The rooms were very beautiful, in traditional style, comfortable, quiet, and the private onsen was incredible. As for the dinner, one of the best we've ever had. And the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Thumbs up to the lady that was serving our dinner, she was so kind, made us feel so welcome and cared for our every need. Overall, it's a 200% recommended experience!

Founded in 1860, Juhachiro is located along Nagara River and boasts indoor and outdoor natural hot spring baths. The property is a 15-minute bus ride from Gifu Train Station. Nice experience in a high-end traditional Japanese hotel. We were the only western tourists. Very nice onsen with amazing "muddy bath". Delicious meals, very good buffet breakfast.

Awarded by TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice in 2015, Wanosato offers luxurious Japanese-style ryokan stay in a 160-year-old quaint Gassho-zukuri thatched-roof house, nestled in the tranquil woods. Everything! My husband and I can’t thank the team of Wanosato enough. It was such an amazing experience and they were so kind, gentle and thoughtful. One of the highlights - if not THE highlight - of our trip.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. absolutely fantastic . we liked everything 😀 tatami as a bed isn’t made for us 😀 but that was our Choice to try it. except of this the whole ryokan , the staff the food is just the best . thank you !

El Sumiyoshi Ryokan, situat en una casa unifamiliar històrica a tan sols 1 minut a peu del mercat matutí de Miyagawa, al cor de la localitat de Takayama, ofereix allotjaments acollidors d'estil...
