Holger, the host, who was very warm, friendly and accomodating, made our stay exceptional. The traditional local as well as the more international cuisine served was always perfectly prepared and we were eager to try every dish. We also liked that there was a second (or first) vegan menu which could cater to our daughters' dietary needs. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, the lodge offered a perfect escape into tranquility. The serene ambiance is an ideal destination for relaxation. Exploring the surroundings with young children was an absolute joy, as there was a very nice and well maintained nature park within walking distance, where our oldest of four enjoyed zip lining (secured to a guide). Starting from the lodge you can also start several nice hikes making it seamlessly blend adventure and relaxation. The picturesque landscapes were a feast for the eyes, creating a magical backdrop for our stay. I can't recommend Hillside Nature Lodge enough – an oasis of beauty, hospitality, and family-friendly exploration!

Located by the Nam Khan River, My Dream Boutique Resort offers non-smoking rooms with a private balcony. Guests can enjoy meals at the open-air restaurant on site. The resort also features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and free bicycles for rent. We were so lucky to have 5 nights at this beautiful resort. I cannot say enough about the facilities and staff. We had no activities pre-arranged and Sam and his staff organized the most amazing trips to incredible destinations with every small detail included. They were always there when we returned with a big smile to welcome us back.

Located in the heart of Luang Prabang City, Villa Maly includes refurbished structures built in 1938. This beautiful property offers rooms built around an outdoor pool. Free WiFi is provided and a welcome drink and cool towel on arrival are included. Greenery, room, breakfast, bicycles, everything! But all of that would be nothing without amazing staff! Everyone was kind, warm, polite, welcoming, helpful. They really added an extra layer of greatness :)

Staff were lovely & warm. They were very engaging & answered my many questions about the city. A great breakfast which was in a beautiful setting. I would recommend the hotel to all.

You can play table tennis and darts at this 4-star resort, and the area is popular for hiking and fishing. There were so many activities for the kids, they loved it (and so did I because I got to relax and read my book!). Staff was also excellent, very accommodating. Food was fresh, vegetables coming from the lodge's organic garden.

Chateau Orientale Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Luang Prabang. Offering a bar, the property is located within 15 km of Night Market. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views. You can not beat the view. The whole retreat felt like one big meditation session. The staff was great. The main host had an incredibly calming aura that matched the serenity of the location. I have high anxiety and that retreat was the least anxious I have been in years. The owner was great too. He gave me a free trip to the airport and was a great conversationalist. This would be a great place to write a book.

A variety of popular activities are available in the area around the accommodation, including trekking, mountain-biking as well as Mekong river cruises. What a hotel. Rosewood lives up to expectations. The interiors are stunning. The whole property is beautifully laid out with the old house looking immaculate. I would have loved to stay longer. The staff were such a pleasure. The level of service is superb. We had a pick up from a restaurant where the driver waited for us for over half an hour even though his shift had ended.

The resort is a 10-minute walk from Wat Xieng Thong Temple and a 5-minute drive from Luang Prabang Airport. Very beautiful location. Perfect place to relax and to explore the centre of Luang Prabang. The shuttle per boat is perfectly organized and it’s so charming to cross the Nam Khan river with it. Great coffee for breakfast. Special thanks goes to Mr. Han and to his team for their excellent service, e.g. organizing motorbikes and train tickets. We had a great stay and highly recommend this accomodation!
