The setting was magical, secluded up in the hills with a gorgeous view down into the valley. Felt like Shangri-la. Everything was so lush and green. Andre was so gracious and attentive. We felt very pampered.

Birch Resort is super clean, rooms are big and light. Air con was working fine. Pool area is lovely. Also very clean. Easy check in process as arrived late at night. Would highly recommend this hotel:)

The room was very large and had a beautiful outdoor shower as well as indoor shower. Nice private sitting areas outside room. Communal pool was also lovely. Clean and just the right temp for the humid weather in Port Douglas. Just a cute place to stay.

This property has the most amazing pool / restaurant area - it makes the whole stay. The pool is warm, very kid-friendly and beautiful. Lots of little places to set up and play without bothering other people or feeling like your children are imposing. The location is a little further from town if you wanted to walk in, but a short drive and great access to everything Port Douglas has to offer.

Anthony and Andre went out of their ways to make our stay special. We especially appreciated Andre’s helpful tips for our trips up to the Daintree. The room was spacious and well appointed - it lacked for nothing. We’ll definitely be back!

It is in the perfect location to access a range of activities and sights. The hosts are generous and welcoming, they made us feel comfortable and totally at home. A highlight for me was the delicious and colourful breakfast with exquisite views each morning. I will miss the beautiful Spode plates and morning welcome from their gorgeous dogs!

The breakfast every morning was fresh and filling, and Andre and Anthony were very attentive to make sure we were comfortable.
