Offering a garden and garden view, La Casa Nostra Villa Rose Garden Amore is set in Hillcrest, 32 km from Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve and 32 km from Durban ICC. The whole villa and rose gardens are very beautiful, the furniture was perfect for the whole Italian feel of the place. Even the architectural walls outside and statues were on point. A little structure to the side reminded me of the Colosseum in Italy.The water fountain was very relaxing to hear. Bedroom was devine. Bed so comfortable and the beddings were really luxurious. Everything was so tasteful. A bit of olde world charm. Patio too comfortable, you would want to take a good book and read it there whilst looking at the multitude of colourful roses. Bathroom fittings was amazing and really neat. I think the underneath of the sink looked like a singer machine it was so thoughtful whoever designed and decorated this place is really a genius with the whole theme in mind. The little touches , paintings on wall, furniture fits into this place like a glove. Nothing seems out of place at all. It all fits to make your visit memorable.

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. best breakfast during a stay, I’ve had in South Africa (been there for 1,5 month). security was on point. both gates, alarm and everything. the hosts was extremely kind and helpful regarding with our continuous road trip through South Africa. I cannot emphasize enough how good value for money this place has. we only stayed for a night as we only needed a place to stay the night. could’ve easily stayed for more days.

Located in picturesque Forest Hills in Kloof, Nkutu River Lodge (previously Hot Buttered Toast) offers views over the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve on the banks of the Nkutu River. The Apartment is spacious, clean, tidy, well equipped and well maintained. Nice view from the balcony. Lovely little walk to the river, just remember the anti mosquito spray.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Summerhill Guest Estate offers accommodation in Pinetown. The owner welcomed us. Big smile and it felt like she was so happy to see us. I requested a later checkout due to an online conference engagement. No problem. The dinner and breakfast.... her husband is the chef.... wow!!! This should be marketed as a fine dining restaurant in its own right. What a pleasant gem!!
