The reserve was family friendly, and we had alot of good sightings of giraffes, zebras and kudus amongst many others.

The toll roads plazas were a pain but the roads in Limpopo are great. People are very friendly and helpful; Hotel management extremely pleasant, especially Charles lamb, the manager. Inrteracted well with all the guests.

It was the second time we stayed at the Outpost. For us it is one of the best Lodges in South Africa. We like the open concept of the rooms and the landscape surrounding the lodge. It is just so relaxing being in Kruger without the traffic jams of the south. Maybe there are places to see more big 5 animals but going to the fever tree forest is just unique as have the sundowner on the banks of Limpopo River with the Hippos. If you are looking for a special experience, go there.

umVangati House is one of those places you won’t forget. we stayed there for one night and everything was perfect. the hospitality level is exceptional, the dinner and breakfast was excellent, our suite was bug-free and very clean. We enjoyed walking the wooden deck with our binoculars and spot wild Kudu and many birds. I would recommend stay for more than one night, this place is well worth it.

Everything. The staff were amazing. Housekeeping came twice daily. Game reserve drives (our guide Ephraim was wonderful). The hotel pampers the customer in every way possible. The views are stunning. The location is serene. The facilities well maintained. We hired a massage which was excellent. (Thank you Witness and the other lady whom I forgot her name). The chef and their staff worked with us to cater to our specific dietary needs. It really was worth splurging to come here and we'd highly recommend. It was the highlight of our memorable trip to South Africa.

Kapama river lodge was conveniently located next to Hoedspruit airport which made for easy transfer. The property is stunning and their staff was very friendly. The spa was incredible & would highly recommend. My husband had the African massage + pedicure and said that Mandisa was the best masseuse he’s ever had. The game drives were great. You do 2 a day, one at 6AM & the other at 4PM. Milton & Collin were exceptional & were able to check all of our bucket list items off. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Matingwe is definitely recommended. Best lodge in the area including the possibility for big-five game drives in Welgevonden. Choert loves his job as a ranger and really got the most out of the game drives. Price-performance is optimal. Rooms are beautiful (love the bathroom!), very clean and nothing was missong. The food (dinner and breakfast) leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was delicious without exception. Thanks for that dear Tanya. We felt welcome and like home. We will be back!!!
