This is the best place to stay in Dong Hoi.

We loved it, we stayed an extra night. Very relaxing, the owner answers very quick on whatsapp and shes very nice and welcoming. She cooked us breakfast and dinner, very good and reasonable price. The rooms are clean and warm, the bed was comfortable as well. If you need to book tours or have any questions, the owner has answers and books it for you. We had our own motorcycles so it was easy for us to go from place to place, if you’re travelling by bus and train i think you can have access to a scooter with the owner if you ask. 100% recommend, it’s calm and its a great price !! Thank you for everything :)

Thanks to Hugo and his lovely family for our stay and being so accomodating. Hugo recommended a cave tour (Ruc Mon Cave) and it was honestly one of the highlights of our 7 weeks in Vietnam. Very nice people. Made us feels special with their personalized attention. Special mention to The owner couple Hop and Hoi , Sang and Ms Hue. Food provided was excellent. The River Side view was awesome. We had booked the river view rooms which were of good size , very neat and clean. One can hire bike at the Homestay . Value for money. The Homestay made travel arrangements at very reasonable cost. They provide all the information with regards to places of interest in the area. Minimum days recommended 3-4 days or more to really enjoy and absorb the beauty of the place and visit all the places in the area. Would definitely like to go back.

Lady at the reception was exceptional, very cheery and accommodating. Location is nice, near small local restaurants. There is a outdoor pool, the weather was too cold but I’m sure it would’ve been amazing to be in as it looked nice!

Quang Binh is good option for adventure traveller, not suitable for relaxation and beach. the nature view on the road to paradise cave, dark cave iss so so amazing, experience yourself with the rented motobike. the cave is not interesting to me, so boring and waste of money on the ticket-it is so expensive but not worthy for me

The male receiptionist in the night shift was absolutely amazing (sorry I didn’t notice his name). He was so gentle and helpful with all the check-in and also covid 19 health declaration. The room is big and very clean. The pool is great and the staff in the restaurant for breakfast is nice also.

The homestay is just far enough from the nearby restaurant/hostel street to feel closer to quiet, local life, but only a short bike ride away (provided free of charge) so you’re options are plentiful. Phong nha is a must see area! And the farmstay is a great relaxing place to stay. It’s more like a relaxed boutique hotel vibe than a ‘farmstay’ in my view. But you do look out on farms being worked:) the staff were so helpful and great and we loved exploring the region each day (caves are incredible and the national park is beautiful) then coming back the farmstay at night
