The breakfast was great considering we're in covid, and have to practice social distancing. My husband and I was celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary during our stay there. That was the reason for coming to Rehoboth for a short getaway. I asked the front desk if they provided special packages for anniversaries and they said no they don't. But someone there so nice left us some treats in our room instead, I thought that was so awesome of them to make our stay there a special one.

Fabulous, hard-drinkin' little beach town!
This was an amazing find: we'd never heard of Dewey or much in Delaware and were so delighted with the little beach town full of craft beers and seafood bar-restaurants. It's on a kind of sand spit so there's the wild ocean on one side and just across the road a peaceful bay. Everything is walking distance. People seem to come here specifically to go wild, and even though everyone was really drunk all weekend (as in, all day!) people couldn't have been nicer. Also, tax free shopping! There are huge outlets a short drive outside Dewey where you can shop for cheap designer goods of all kinds whenever you need a break from the ocean paradise...

Small town in DE with big college presence......youth and enthusiasm everywhere!
I have not visited this town often enough to give a fair evaluation. That said, there seemed to be many choices for dining and overnight accommodations. On graduation weekend, one cannot be too choosy, so we were very pleased to be near campus and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at a place called Skipjack.......great seafood. U Delaware campus is beautiful and graduation was superb.

Dover is a small quaint and quiet town.
Dover is a small quaint and quiet town. We were able to move around town fairly easy. The traffic was great! We visited Delaware State University and we also went to the movies at their cinema. I would definitely visit Dover again.

Delaware as a whole is a pretty chilled place. Seaford itself is a great place to spend the night - close to numerous restaurants & food places.. I'd highly recommend the Stargate Diner! Very friendly staff, less than 3min drive from the hotel and a HUGE range of food options - they close at 10pm though so make it a lunch or breakfast thing! In Delaware we visited Rehoboth Beach which was really pretty, Brandywine Creek State Park and Bombay Hook National Park.. Both very picturesque and an enjoyable day out! I don't think I'd return to Delaware as I feel I did most of what it had to offer within the two days we were there, but we still had an enjoyable weekend!

This is a motel with a pool. The bed was comfy, the room clean, the shower was good and you could make your own tea and coffee. The breakfast was fairly utilitarian. What made the stay for us was Jackie, who we met on reception. She is someone we will remember for years because she was so kind, helpful and absolutely lovely. PS: visit the Delaware art museum, it’s unexpectedly really good. You can get to this hotel on the bus from town, and there are some big chain places to eat nearby, which you can easily walk to.

The staff made us feel like we never left home. The hotel is very clean and everything is well organized. The location is fantastic. Our fur baby tagged along with us, and they welcomed and treated him like family as well. Our suit had the perfect view of downtown, and I could also see the port. The suit was super clean, and the beds were very comfy. I would highly recommend Staybridge Suits Wilmington Downtown to everyone. This will be our go-to hotel when in Delaware!

This was our first family vacation with our dog. Our room was clean and spacious. We loved the easy ground floor access for our 6mo puppy. The staff greeted us each time we entered and gave our girl special treats. The hotel was in easy range of downtown Rehoboth. We also enjoyed a longer drive to enjoy the Delaware Seashore park beach, Lewes, Dewey and Bethany. There were several sports teams staying while we were there but we never heard anyone outside of our room.

I have been wanting to try Whispering Oak Mansion for a while. Sooo much nicer then a Hotel. We did get the room with the private bath. It was lovely. Sadly I didn't get to meet Karin.
