It such a beautiful city! Good balance of city and nature aspects. Although the Rocky mountain national part was a bit far, it is a great place to stay if you want to visit the Park, but also to enjoy the beauty of the city, Boulder! Highly recommended if you are to visit Colorado!!!!!!
Ouray is easily our favorite Colorado destination and we're natives. It's stunning! Maggie's is the BEST food that we have found yet! Stay at a hotel with a hot spring. You'll be so glad you did after hiking all day!
My favorite town in Colorado. You have the best views, tons of hiking trails, pet friendly, nicest people nationwide to my experience,it’s my third time visiting this town and will keep coming back, getting around Manitou is super easy,we kept finding awesome trails and views that by the way are free so you have endless family fun without breaking your bank account, food is diverse and fantastic.
The town was quaint but we arrived after hours so did not experience the shopping although the shops looked very nice. Walking through the old Colorado Hotel is a must. Very interesting history for this mountain town. The town map is silly. Yes it gives an over view of what the town offers but not functional as a map. We had burgers at Doc Holiday’s which was ok.
Quality Inn on Tower Road in Denver, Colorado is the worst hotel ever. They are awful, the hotel wall had a giant hole in the wallpaper and chunks of the drywall falling on the floor from water damage. Room was dirty and the absolute worst customer servoce
Close to the Colorado National Monument and an hour and a half to two hours from the Arches National Park. Rates are less than half of the Moab rates for lodging, so well worth the travel time.
Very small highway town. Nice diner across street from Days Inn. Very friendly staff at diner. Stayed in Colorado City because we wEnt to see Bishop's Castle and Mission: Wolf.
Colorado Springs is awesome. Had brunch at the Broadmoor at the Lake Terrace Dining Room. Bucket List Item! Wonderful doesn’t even begin to describe it. The ladies and gentlemen taking care of you are from all over the world! Wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the facilities. Excellent downtown entertainment and great areas around town.
It was a long time since we were there and it was a big shocker how croweded it has become and EXPENSIVE. the weather was beautiful though. The stay at Manato springs silver saddle was very pleasant.and up to woodland park was a good trip, pikes peak too Seven falls was fabulous in Colorado Springs .
CS is very nice, but there seems to be countless numbers of vagrants of all ages asking for money and sleeping on the streets. CS is a great gateway to the Colorado mountains. Traffic to and from Denver is horrendous.
The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs is a great hotel located at a traffic hub in Colorado Springs. We very much enjoyed the served breakfast. It was way better than other US hotels serve, it was a great start of the day. In addition, there are more than enough dinner or shopping locations in walking distance of the hotel. The area itself is not very interesting for a vacationing traveller, but it is located close to highways through the city so you will get to where you need to go without having to cross the city.
Salida
The hotel was located right at the base of the Colorado Collegiate Range of mountains. There is a local hill with biking and hiking trails just down the street. White-water rafting and many city activities are available within minutes. The amenities inside the room made it feel more like staying at a family member's house. For example, the coffee provided was an actual container of grounds from a local coffee shop. The coffee cups themselves were small, decorative ceramic cups.
The room and the facilities were adequate. Hotel staff in general were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was adequate. Access and parking were extremely convenient from the I25. Hotel is only a short drive to Garden of the Gods. Roads to downtown Colorado Springs were wide and uncrowded. There is a wide range of restaurants and stores in the general viscinity where one can purchase meals other than breakfast. All in all, it's a convenient property.
Hotel was certainly nicer than expected from the pictures online. The woman serving the continental breakfast every morning was wonderful and sweet. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool but it looked very clean and never crowded! Room was exactly what you would expect. Being in such a small town, the location is perfect because there is an IHOP and Chilli's in the same parking lot, perfect for a quick bite before adventuring in Colorado!
Location is just outside of Colorado State University campus and Old Town Fort Collins. Too far to walk but an easy drive. Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel is a bit dated but otherwise was very clean. Rooms are a comfortable size. There was a nice selection of breakfast items both hot and cold. A bit more than I'd otherwise pay for a property of this caliber, but understandable and typical on college game weekends.
Colorado Springs
We had a great stay at this hostel, that is a former motel. Kind of noisy (located on the main road and there are parties all evenings) but they provide free ear plugs! The shared kitchen is useful and you can chill on the 420 patio or the backyard. Staff were really nice and easygoing. We spent 2 nights at the hostel as part of our Colorado road trip and it’s one of the cheapest accommodation we stayed at, so we are satisfied :)
Telluride
I have stayed in multiple hostels around Colorado and this one is hands down my favorite! They have a great grab-and-go breakfast where even vegans (like myself) can grab something quick. Their common area is also a great study and workspace with a cozy atmosphere. The beds were also very comfortable. The rooms also come with lockers where you can create your own 4 digit lock code, so no need to purchase a lock from the store.
Hyatt House is a hotel in Downtown, convenient to all the clubs and shops on the 16 Mall. I stayed for a conference at the Colorado Convention Center, a block away. The staff is friendly and available 24/7, and the cleanliness of the room is admirable, but the highlight is the breakfast included in the price of the stay: very abundant and of good quality. Recommended hotel!
The history of the property was fascinating. A walk around the hotel helped to tell that story. We were only there one day/night on our cross country Amtrak train trip and of all the places we visited as a family we all agreed this was the one place we’d like to return to. Besides the Hotel Colorado, there are many local attractions we’d like to experience.
Colorado room at front really great -- decor and views. Felt quite special. Worth upgrade cost. Hotel's proximity to so many great restaurants is massive plus. Glenwood Springs restaurant row is quite something. It's an easy and pleasant walk across the pedestrian bridge to the hot springs side of town. I walked to Yampah Spa quite easily and loved it.
Glenwood Springs
Excellent room, facility, breakfast with excellent access to the two large hot spring pools and other tourist interests nearby like Iron Mountain Hot Springs, Hanging Lake, and Doc Holliday's grave at Linwood Cemetary. Also next to the Hotel Colorado which has a wonderful dining room and dinners. Within walking distance of many local restaurants.
Breckenridge
Awesome location just a few minutes walk from main street and very quiet. The apartment was great! Very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. The collections of games and books are great. My son and I enjoyed playing chess. The family played Monopoly. I also enjoyed a book written by a women traveling in Colorado during the 1870's.
Frisco
This boutique hotel was a gem on my Colorado trip. I arrived from a rather heavy mountain tour directly at the outdoor whirlpool which was extremely relaxing. Super beautiful room to stay, comfortable beds, everything nicely decorated, helpful staff and really awesome breakfast. Would definitely recommend to stay there!
The location of the hotel at Colorado Blvd. and Cherry Creek Drive North is very convenient to Cherry Creek and Downtown Denver. The parking garage enables me to get my car out of the weather and provides an added level of security. The rooms are very comfortable, and the restaurant and lounge service are great.
Hyatt House has always exceeded all my expectations. In Colorado Springs the staff was attentive and accommodating, the facilities were excellent, and the hotel's cleanliness and comfort were truly impressive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Colorado Springs.
The staff was friendly, the room was very clean. We stayed in a suite and it was very comfy. Definitely no complaints. Oh and the breakfast was pretty good too which is very rare for a Hotel. This will be my go to Hotel when we go to Colorado to visit family! Happy Customer!
Love the Grand Vista Hotel in Grand Junction Colorado. The atmosphere is fabulous, they are very kind to animals here, customer service was exceptional from all staff. The restaurant has great choices and the bar is reminiscent of the old world style. Thank you!!
Breckenridge
This is by far one of the nicer stays in Colorado. Apartment was impeccable, and the amenities are top notch. The hot tubs and the super warm pool, as well as indoor swim area are amazing. Good location, close to both Breckenridge and Frisco.
The Hotel Telluride was one of our favorite hotels on a two week trip through Colorado and Utah into Arizona. It was so beautiful and the view from our room was breathtaking. We enjoyed the hot tub outside near the bar, it was perfect.
My family is currently looking for a home to rent which brought us to the extended stay in Loveland Colorado. The staff, accommodations, and overall cleanliness of the hotel have been amazing and much appreciated as well as needed. 😊
