Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and and the owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area. We had a great time. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

This hotel was located at 18 square (18 Mardani) area and very near to the main Sanliurfa Balikgigol (20mins walk) and Gemruk Han and surround Bazaars. The hotel enviroment and layout is very ancient with beautiful court yards. For me the most important is the excellant services provided by Mr Baris (front manager) and wonderful staff serving breakfast with smile. (all comunications are via whatsapp translation).Breakfast served was excellant withn typical Turkish dishes of grilled vegetables, egg and many type of breads. Everything was perfect: we were welcomed with tea and biscuits, we got upgraded in a very beautiful room, the view is amazing, the hotel is very central, the breakfast was phenomenal and the staff really, really kind. Excellent and authentic ambience. The rooms exude ancient times and represent cultural heritage. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is varied and rich. On weekends, they organize parties with live music in the yard. The parking lot was spacious and the accommodation facility is located in the center of the old town.

Attractively located in Mardin, Mirsoum Han features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. We stayed for three nights in a beautiful suite room at Mirsoum Han and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The employees (Davud & Diyar) always welcomed us with a smile. With their kind, friendly & always solution-oriented attitude they really made us feel very welcome. Smallest suggestions for improvement were implemented literally the next day. Before I move on to the tasteful rooms I have to mention the breakfast. We have been on the road for 2 weeks and the breakfast here has by far been the most amazing! Medina, the lady in the kitchen, went above and beyond to provide us with a different amazing breakfast every morning. She even made special vitamin drinks for me, because she cared for my pregnancy. I would come back here anytime just for the breakfast! The stone rooms with high arched ceilings are as beautiful & spacious as shown on the pictures. We had a fire place (Davud helped us set it up every night), an amazing copper bath tub, multiple cozy sitting areas beautifully decorated and a very big modern bathroom. We loved drinking the nespresso coffee provided and just enjoying the beauty of the room. Also the lighting in the room is very romantic. You can see in every corner of the hotel, that it is an acclaimed architect’s work. Also, the sitting area outside has a beautiful view of Mesopotamia. We would warmly recommend staying in this high quality hotel and love to come back.
