Makeri Residence - Musanze , Rwanda ตั้งอยู่ห่างจาก Mgahinga Gorilla National Park 41 กม. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Makeri residence. Jackie's exceptional hospitality truly made our stay memorable. We admired the view and garden, the food was delicious, the room was comfortable. Jackie and her team consistently went above and beyond even taking us on tours of the area, washing our shoes after they got dirty from mud, going out to get items that we had requested. I cannot recommend this place more. A true hidden gem.

Randa ' s House I Homestay ตั้งอยู่ห่างจาก Mgahinga Gorilla National Park 39 กม. The whole family is very welcoming and my stay there felt like stepping into the daily life of a rwandan family. I was invited eating with them their familydinner, where I got to know the traditional dishes (delicious btw) and to have a talk about living in Rwanda. Norbert works in tourism for that was very convenient as Norbert helped me organise my gorilla trekking at an affordable price and I also did an authentic hiking tour with Norbert as my tour guide, where I learned a lot about the country. The room was simple equipped with mosquitonet, there was a theoretically shared bathroom, but since I was the only guest it was private for me, sometimes no running water but always enough watercanisters to handle that. If you want to have an authentic experience at an affordable price this is definitely the place to go with!

Virunga Homestays อยู่ห่างจาก Mgahinga Gorilla National Park 41 กม. The best experience! We have slept in many homestays and hotels, and nothing could surpass Virunga Homestays. We felt very much welcome here. The host was very nice and helpful, gave us many tips and prepared breakfast for us at the time we would’ve wanted to (either 6 am or 9 am, did not matter). After a very tough hike climbing the Mount Bisoke, he made us dinner: not to exaggerate, but it was the best dinner we ate so far in Rwanda. Very thankful and definitely coming back!

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout the stay. The staff at reception and the manager welcomed us with fresh juice and were able to help us arrange for a driver for the following day. They were really flexible with a later check out and as I wasn't feeling well, provided a lot of support. The garden was a nice place to relax and the restaurant was large with many drink options. The showers were hot and the rooms were generous in size with a nice patio. The driver was excellent - he supported us in getting tickets for a hike, and was very knowledgeable about the park.
