Bora Bora
Offering garden views, Anaiva Lodge Bora in Bora Bora features accommodations, free bikes, and a garden. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Nice location but far better if you have a car. There are bikes available though. Great little food stand right down the road. Very clean, all amenities, washing machine and lots of hot water. Great outdoor space and new hot tub plus a patio to dine on and it's all private. Quiet and comfortable. Host were awesome and met me at the dock when I arrived. Top notch. Best stay.
Bora Bora
Overlooking the magnificent turquoise waters of a private beach, the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora features luxurious over-water bungalows and beachfront villas with views of Mount Otemanu. This is definitely the best hotel in Bora Bora. We loved everything about our stay. If you can afford this hotel, don't bother with any other, you will have the best experience here. Our villa was finished with highest quality products and perfect place for honeymoon. Especially the bathtub with the view of the ocean is something I will happily remember. The hotel is perfect to spot celebrities and hollywood stars. The beach and pool are just beautiful and like from a fantasy, it's so beautiful that feels unreal. Also the gym is a dream vome true, you run in the direction of the ocean. If you think of Bora Bora splendor, this hotel is really what you have in mind.
Bora Bora
On Motu Piti Aau and featuring an exclusive private beach, this 5-star resort and day spa offers private villas located over the water. Each has a large shaded terrace with stunning views of Bora... IC Thalasso is pure paradise. The location is phenomenal and it is everything you would expect and more in a Tahitian resort.
Matira Beach, Bora Bora
Featuring a private white sand beach which is exclusive to guests, this luxury resort offers beachfront accommodations on Matira Point. Guests can stay in unique bungalows positioned over the water. The employees are really friendly, the food and beverages prices are very fair (you find pretty much the same prices in other restaurants nearby but with less quality in some of them). The hotel manager goes every morning to speak to guests and gather some feedback. She is also really nice and professional. The beach is amazing and we had some sharks and mantas below our bungalow (coming around 6-7 am). There is something I would like to point out as a major highlight: they offer an exchange room. This is specially important if you have an afternoon flight or evening flight but you still want to enjoy the day in Bora Bora. After the checkout at 11:00 you can use the pool and the beach and then use that room to shower and prepare yourself before leaving.
Bora Bora
Exclusively located in a private cove on Motu To’opua, Conrad Bora Bora Nui enjoys vast blue ocean views and a white sand beach. Exceptional location, everything you would expect from a hotel of this standing. The room was extremely comfortable and the property is breathtaking.
Bora Bora
Guests at this luxury resort can choose between garden suites with private pool, beachfront suites with a private hot tub, or overwater bungalows with direct access to the turquoise waters below. We loved how you could walk to the coral gardens to snorkel. The bedroom, bathroom, and deck were a very good size. The property was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our bungalow #201 was in a very good location. Young man at concierge was very helpful in booking an excursion.

Bora Bora is a fantastic destination for honeymooners, romantic couples, or anniversary celebrations. It might be challenging for families with young kids because once it gets dark out, there's not too much at the resorts to entertain them. But there's definitely enough beauty and relaxation for those seeking paradise.
Stunning part of the world - snorkelling is amazing - book a tour with Reef Discovery. Ate at Villa Mahana, St James and Bora Bora Yacht Club - if we went again would definitely go back to the latter two but not Villa Mahana - it was our least favourite meal of the trip and cost three times the amount of the other two. Matira Beach Restaurant is also brilliant. All these places pick you up and return you for free. Excellent massage at Thallasso Resort
If you are looking for a place to go and relax, Bora Bora is the place. I'm a person where it's hard to turn off thinking about work and it was like my mind had been wiped clean. When you are looking out at the clear blue water and the breeze is blowing on your face, it's hard to think about anything. We spent 4 days on the main Island at Rohotu Fare and 4 days in an overwater bungalow at Pearl Beach. It was the perfect way to do it as we got to explore the main island first and then when we got to the overwater bungalows we didn't feel bad about just vegging out. We were on a budget so staying in a hillside bungalow in town was cheaper and the place we stayed had a kitchen so we were able to cook our own meals. This proved to be a good thing not only for our budget but also because we are vegetarians and Bora Bora didn't have the best food options for us. Bora Bora Pearl Beach was also a lot less expensive than a lot of the other resorts with overwater bungalows. We were told it's one of the only Polynesian owned resorts. While the food is on the expensive side. Dinners are around $35-40. The breakfast buffet was included in our room, otherwise it would have been $40 per person. The drinks were surprisingly cheap. We were expecting them to be much more expensive from what we had read. Beers were $5 and specialty cocktails were $14 and $11 on happy hour. An amazing trip. It's a destination that is on everyone's bucket list for a reason.
Bora Bora deserves its reputation as a beautiful island with crystal clear blue and turquoise water. The grilled mahi-mahi at Bloody Mary was delicious even in a lunch sandwich rather than the dinner plate. The half tour included swimming with black fin sharks and sting rays, snorkeling in a coral garden and a trip to an island to enjoy fresh fruit and a glorious panorama view (required walking up many steps). We discovered $5 NZ shuttle vans that take you to Bloody Mary restaurant and back to the center of town which was about a 20 minute walk to our place.
Honestly if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway that's not crowded like Hawaii, Bora Bora is your answer. There isn't much at all when it comes to shopping, bars etc...but the ocean, reef, activities, lodging, food and overall experience will leave you wondering why you missed those other things. Highly recommended trip to anyone looking for an exotic island getaway looking for adventure, romance, and super hospitable hosts. The Four Seasons is the BEST.
We loved staying at the Four Seasons. It seemed like our own little private island of paradise. The locals spoke English well and were extremely friendly. The lagoon of course was stunning and warm! Weather was perfect, not too humid. We traveled the entire island of Bora Bora in one hour by Buggy. Best food to eat on island is Snack Matira (Tuna Burger and Egg Burger). Grab baguettes from the market across from the Mobil Gas Station for 43 XPF!! Sharks and Sting Ray Tour was AMAAAAAAZZZING. Favorite spot was waking up to the mountain view from our bungalow.
I was in Bora Bora in 2000 on a cruise ship. The economy seemed to be much better then than now. The island was not as nice as I recall it. Shopping was very limited. If you din't need pearls or a pareo there wasn't much to buy. The market by the marina was only about 1/4 occupied and all of the vendors were selling the same things. The lagoon is definitely what they have to offer.
The island is picture perfect. The mountains, the turquoise water, the resorts, the locals...it’s all wonderful! Bora Bora is for those looking to escape to a dream. If you want to relax, hike, be in nature and sit on a beach all day; this is the place. It is laid back and each resort is set up to have all you need there. It is a luxury destination, and honestly the most beautiful place in the world.
Beautiful island, would have loved to explore the outlying islands. The snorkel tours were great and we had lots of fun seeing and swimming with manta rays, lemon sharks and colorful reef fish. Getting around Bora Bora is easy, the hotels arrange the transportation and there is only one road and no traffic. Would comeback in a heartbeat.
Simply gorgeous. When you arrive in Bora Bora you are met by your resort with a fresh flower lei and than taken by boat to your resort. The bungalows over the water are stunning and the staff is super friendly. We went swimming with Sharks and made sure to stop at Bloody Mary’s for a couple Tropical drinks 🍹 and a little shopping for Tahitian pearls. True paradise 🏝
Bora Bora
Excellent Host Gerard and his lovely assistant, one of the most accessible properties in Bora Bora. They provide an excellent pick up service for free that makes a big difference, As many hotels in Bora Bora charge expensive fee to collect you or take you to the Airport Ferry. Spent 2 further nights at the accommodation by the lagoon which was much more spacious and had better furnishings and facilities. That property was Par excellence. The first night I spent at the main accommodation was a little small but the Lagoon Lodge is excellent
Bora Bora
It’s everything as described. I love the style of the property! Beds very comfortable, wifi, air con all good. Absolutely gorgeous view of the mountain and literally a few minutes to Vaitape or Matira beach by car. Having a kitchenette in our apartment has been wonderful especially travelling with 2 children. Laura has been incredible with organising taxi, car hire, & excursion for us. If we are ever in the fortunate position to travel to Bora Bora again we would definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable little hotel. Reminded me of the hotel I stayed in My first trip to Bora Bora in 1989. Perfect location, friendly Staff, nice breakfast included. Restaurant with three meal service and a small Bar. They have kayaks and bicycles to rent. Market is a one minute walk. Many restaurants within walking. If you're looking for the fancy resort amenities this is not the place. I think it's perfect! I will definitely stay again.
Bora Bora
This place is just magic! Nir and his wife are wonderful hosts. The place that Nir envisioned and created up the hill on Bora Bora is the most relaxing and special place I have ever been in my life. The apartment has everything you will need for your stay. You just need to come here, enjoy the jungle around your room and relax by seeing the most beautiful sunsets of your life. Thanks for everything, Nir! Giorgia and Alessandro
Great place to stay in Bora Bora if you're looking for something budget-friendly. Owner was fantastic, gave me plenty of information about the hotel's amenities and nearby features. When I left I had planned to walk to the ferry to the airport, but had a sore back and asked to organize a taxi. When no taxis were going to be available to get me to the ferry on time the owner drove me to the ferry terminal herself.
Bora Bora
Great 4 nights at Tike House. The bungalow is well thought and has everything you need to make your stay extremely comfortable. Fred is very kind and knowledgeable of the island. He will ensure you make the most of your time at Bora Bora! Breakfast are the best we had in our French Polynesia trip, highly recommend booking for dinner too, Fred is a great cook! Rent a car or scooter to discover the island! 100% recommend!
Bora Bora
Everithing. Staying in this apartment made me curse that I spent so much money in the resorts the previous days. As soon as I arrived I dived into bora bora's life and started having fun. I was coming from three days of resort and I was about to cut my veins from boredom, then I got here and everything changed. Lauren is fantastic, kind and always present. The house has a breathtaking view and is spotless.
Bora Bora
We had a great stay in Bora Bora. The apartment had a great feel and lovely outlook. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and dining on the balcony. Although the apartment is 20 mins by scooter from town, we did not find it to be a hassle. The apartment is well setup with everything you need. Really appreciated the pick up from the ferry/airport.
This is definitely the best hotel in Bora Bora if you consider price. The property is beautiful, the view from the pool and the beach is probably the best in Bora Bora! We could have stayed there few weeks if we had time. The staff was extremely friendly and empathetic. And our villa! Amazing and spectacular! This is the hotel you want to go to on Bora Bora!
Bora Bora
Our host Vicky is so hospitable and accommodating. She would pick you up from the port after arriving from Bora Bora airport and would bring you back, if needed transport. You have everything in the apartment to make your stay comfortable. Mauru uru Vicky for your hospitality.
Cozy hostel in a family house, friendly atmosphere, attentive hosts. My two days in Bora Bora well spent, especially with the Lagoon trip recommended by the hostess. It is wonderful that in Bora Bora there is such a hostel where backpakers can stay.
Bora Bora
Good location Very spacious with room for up to 5 people Fairly priced compared to other hotels in Bora Bora Own fully equipped kitchen Could easily have spent more time here!
Bora Bora
Lovely modern apartment, extremely clean and Sophia the owner was very helpful for information about bora bora. We were comfortable and happy there.
Bora Bora
We loved the location ( most beautiful island in Bora Bora) and the boats tour with Ken was amazing.
Bora Bora
great hotel, staff was friendly and helpful was a good price compared to others in Bora Bora.
Bora Bora
location was great. compared with the other hotels on Bora Bora it was a great deal.
Loved it here! Our first time at Bora Bora, loved the island and this hotel
Bora Bungalove is nothing short of a magical paradise. The tidy bungalow has everything you will need. We spent most of our time on the over the water deck. The sea kayak is sturdy and the snorkeling from the home is amazing. The sunsets are long and lovely. Our hosts were most gracious!
The guy at reception was a legend so helpful great bloke
