Boasting a terrace, a bar and a shared lounge, Tophouse Historical Inn Bed and breakfast is situated in Saint Arnaud and is 34 km from Rainbow Valley. We loved the old inn, its charm and history. It was just lovely to go back in time. The view was fantastic, the ducs, alpacas (?) and the lovely dog were sweet and sipping wine bought from the tiny but well-equipped bar looking over the valley was just amazing. The hosts were friendy but didn’t overdo it. All facilities were spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the cosy dining room with other guests was a nice way to start the day. It was unfortunate that the dinner chef had a day off but we were were advised to a local restaurant where we got a decent and even gluten-free pizza for our sunset dinner in the pretty garden.

Lovely breakfast and friendly, helpful owner with lots of great tips for restaurants and tourist attractions. Close by the national park walks and cave tour also good. Highly recommend.
