The hotel is on the boardwalk with all the best restaurants & within walking distance of trains, buses, boats, museums. Very pretty city! I wish to highly recommend the Thon Hotel Tonsberg Brygge. 10/10.

The main criterion of choice was convenient location, and breakfast in the price.The option of two meals a day is very nice if you are travelling. Also the free coffee and tea downstairs in the bar was a nice addition to the stay If I am in Sandefjord again I will definitely return to this hotel. Definitely recommended!

É conhecida como uma das mais antigas cidades da Noruega (se não for a mais antiga), então é cheia de história. Eu já conhecia a cidade e arredores, então, quis somente testar minha adaptação ao inverno. Para visitar alguns museus e Slotsfjell é melhor verificar as datas de disponibilidade pois, com as festas de fim de ano e a temperatura, alguns museus fecham. Recomendo alugar um carro, mas o transporte de ônibus é bem pontual em relação ao horário: é só ir ao posto de atendimento da empresa VKT no shopping e pedir informações. Se ficar mais de uma semana e for utilizar muito ônibus, melhor comprar um bilhete temporal: sai mais em conta (o transporte é cobrado conforme a distância, então com o bilhete facilita) e você pode circular por Vestfold toda (equivalente ao Estado onde essa cidade se localiza). Pode-se pagar tanto taxi, trem quanto ônibus com cartão bandeiras MC/Visa, inclusive os pré-pagos. Acesso à taxi é bem rápido e preciso (se precisar ir ao Aeroporto num horário que não dá para ir de trem, eles chegam em 5 minutos se você estiver na cidade com uma tarifa diferenciada: mais em conta). Caso seja dia de festa ou sexta-feira, a procura é bem grande pois lá a lei é seguida à risca e ninguém dirige depois de beber. Noruegueses são muito corteses, gentis, amáveis... sou suspeita para dizer. Lembre-se sempre de procurar conhecer as leis e regras dos países que visita. Esse povo em especial é muito honesto, então, seja honesto também, brasileiro!
