Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. Everything was just excellent and I dont think I've ever slept in a bed as comfortable as in Basecamp Hotel. The only thing was - I could hear every movement in the hall etc but overall the whole experience was just super. I really loved my stay and fell in love with my room!

The shower and toilets were separate, which makes a huge difference, also spotlessly clean. Yulya and Sam were outstanding and quickly became "family"

Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Old and nice. Very warm place-not only the temperature but people are very nice
