Not vegans ourselves, but great variety in non-fish, non-dairy options, appealing fresh vegetables and fruits (including sliced onions, forgotten hero of buffets), warm dishes and müsli. Fish options cool too (coming from Sweden – wot? no pickled herrings? – vive la différence).

Located right in the city centre of Oslo, Amerikalinjen is a vibrant boutique hotel named after the 19th century cruise ship line of the same name. Breakfast was excellent with extensive buffet. Provided a "to go" breakfast before our early flight. Staff very helpful/ friendly. Room was beautiful/ clean/ quiet. Comfortable bed. Hall door like a bank vault.

The accommodation is in a prime location, literally within walking distance of everything important. It is superbly connected with transportation. The accommodation itself is precise with many beautiful little details that contribute to an even better impression (thermos, polaroid camera, etc.). Also, the communication via whatsup is excellent because they literally answer in 5 minutes.
