The staff were very friendly. The owner had great English and was willing to help us book anything we needed. The view of the volcano was amazing, very tranquil and peaceful. We had a great breakfast and one night we had dinner there, the food was delicious.

El Encanto Garden Hotel is located in Santa Cruz. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Santo Domingo Beach is a 7 minute walk from the property. Incredibly beautiful hotel overlooking Concepcion. Located right next to a short side road, accessible by scooter with a touch of care. An entomologist dream. You won’t find a better view to enjoy a delicious coffee in the mornings. The manager Bayardo was amazing and is there to help in any way possible. We loved enjoying the natural surroundings from our private casita. Ac and wifi now problem anywhere we were on the property. Santa Cruz beach is a 5 minute walk and is basically all your own. Amazing time.

Hotel San Juan Ometepe ligger i Altagracia, under 2,5 km fra hovedveien, og har en restaurant og et privat strandområde. I really enjoy the location near to the beach and the spectacular view to the volcano. I will definitely return soon to Hotel San Juan.

Located on the beach in the San Fernando, 800meters north of Santo Domingo and 1km south of Santa Cruz,, Xalli Hotel features a sun terrace and views of the lake. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice location at the beach. Great bed and nice breakfast. Would recommend to stay here. Restaurant also good.

Set in Santa Cruz, less than 1 km from Santo Domingo Beach, Hotel Restaurante Los Cocos offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Los Cocos provides fairly basic accommodations but what sets them apart is the quality of the staff. Marlon, his family and his staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. The food is typical Nicaraguan fare cooked beautifully with generous portions. We were always met with smiles. As we are practiced our Spanish, the Los Cocos team were patient and worked with us to ensure that expectations were well communicated. They spent time with us and got to know our children. The space is incredibly safe and the location is excellent, being directly across from playa Santa Cruz and the Saturday market. If you need a taxi, Marlon is more than willing to drive you wherever you need to go in a comfortable pick up truck. He can help you arrange horse tours, vehicle rental, kayak tour, hiking tour and whatever else you can imagine on the island. We have returned to Los Cocos twice, and we couldn't imagine staying at any other hotel on Isla de Ometepe!

Hospedaje Central features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Moyogalpa. It was nice to stay in a room ll by ourselves, even tho it was a big shared room. Maybe was to avoid mixing groups for covid reasons, idk, but was nice (since I was not feeling great that day, I ate something weird the day before in Rivas).

Situated in Mérida, 3.6 km from Maderas Volcano, Caballito's Mar features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Everything. The included breakfast was great and staff very welcoming and helpful. Kayaks for free for an hour a day. Sunset from here is incredible. Right on the water and fishes are jumping out. Very comfortable rooms with clean showers and soap provided. Beds comfortable. Not too many bugs due to good policies in the place. The road down is treacherous but not too far (I walked it most days from the main road.

Cabañas Privadas Dilany in Moyogalpa features 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Everything was fantastic. Had the best time eating and talking with the family. Relaxing spot, close to lake, easy walk to town, they rent motos right on the property. Very welcoming family. Food was real good too!

The staff is very nice and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was clean and spacious. I loved their big hammock outside :)
