Atlantic Garden Boutique Hotel is a wonderful hotel right in Swakopmund town, near the beach and restaurants. Everything is convenient and safe to walk to. There is even a Spar grocery store a block away. The hotel is very well decorated inside, even though the exterior building is not as chic. All the rooms are on the ground floor and some even have ocean views. The room had all the features I look for in a hotel room - big bed with many pillows, great AC, fridge, space for luggage, excellent WiFi, a sink with counter space, and a fully enclosed shower so water doesn't go everywhere. The breakfast was excellent. There was a great spread of fairly healthy food and then you could order eggs and bacon. I loved the thick yogurt and fresh fruit salad. The hotel staff was lovely and always had a smile on their faces. I highly recommend this hotel.

The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!

The breakfast is phenomenal and the special touch of dog treats on a plate made our day. We felt welcome and special. We also loved the little bakery and the freshly baked bread.

It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.
