Situated in Kuching and with Borneo Convention Centre Kuching reachable within 7.4 km, Meritin Hotel features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a... This hotel was really great: rooms were beautiful and well equipped with all the necessary for a pleasant stay, bathroom was spacious, too, and offered all kind of toiletries, a hair dryer, plenty of towels... Breakfast was rich and offered a lot of different options: from the traditional Malaysian one (laksa, noodles, rice....) to more "international" dishes - English breakfast, toasted bread with kaya, jam, peanut butter, cereals... Location is perfect to explore the heart of Kuching, and is easily reachable also by Grabs and taxis in general. But what really stole my heart was the availability and kindness of Meritin staff. Since in Kuching there are no luggage storage options (well, I did not find any even if I tried), it was natural to ask Meritin if they could store our stuff between our two stays there (we slept here on 12th and on 14th, but on 13th night we were in Batang Ai region, taking in part in 2 days - 1 night excursions and using Kuching as our base). Not only they kept our stuff on 13th night, but they also allowed us to take our baggage there BEFORE our first booking there... on our really first night in Kuching (10th) we were staying in a different hotel and on 11th we were sleeping in Bako National Park, but Meritin allowed us to leave our luggage in their lobby starting from 10th so we could easily retrieve our baggage at the hotel after our 2 days in Bako! If it's not great service, I really don't know what I should call it! Thanks a lot, we had the greatest time here!

Nagyon kedves személyzet. A szálloda a lehető legkedvezőbb helyen található. A medence partján vacsorázva tökéletes kilátás a város kivilágított, legfontosabb nevezetességeire. A szálloda összeépült egy plázával. Amikor kijöttünk jobbra az indiai piac, balra a kínai negyed található. Szemben a folyó másik oldalán az elnöki palota és a parlament épülete. A szálloda mögött az új több emeletes múzeum.

Boasting an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Imperial Hotel Kuching is strategically located next to Boulevard Shopping Mall. The staff where so friendly and the room super clean. I had a long stay in the hotel and i felt so welcome. It’s near to the airport and i like that it’s not directly in the centre. Everything that you need it’s near; grocery, restaurants, mall etc. It’s about 10’ with the car. The room service, dining and laundry service is top. I’ll come here again if I come to Kuching. (:

This is an excellent hotel in Kuching. I was traveling with my 2 daughters and they had a room opposite mine. The rooms were very clean and comfy with good on-suite. They were air conditioned and provided a good nights sleep. Staff were very helpful. It's a central location so lots to explore close by on foot.
