We loved the sunrises at the lagoon and the hangouts at the dock. The lush greenery makes it chilly during the hot days. We loved that they also had vegan food options. The cabins are simple yet beautiful, with a roof window which lets you see the stars at night. 12/10!

Facing the beachfront, Our Habitas Bacalar offers 5-star accommodation in Bacalar and has a garden, restaurant and bar. Boasting a tour desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everything. I cannot recommend Habitas enough. The rooms, the beds, the breakfast, the location, the staff and even the other travelers (mostly) were wonderful. There are activities every day and I took full advantage of everything. Yoga, sound paths, mezcal tasting. It’s an easy way to meet other travelers especially if you’re traveling alone.
