Hotel Victor Hugo is situated in the heart of the small town Vianden. There is a sunny terrace along the Our River, a wellness area and a playground for kids. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Breakfast was alright. Wish there was a way to warm croissants etc. Location was great.

Small details (you can try their impressive tea collection and enjoy the equally impressive record and CD collection) make this so much more than just another hotel/apartment. The staff in the cafe downstairs are very friendly, and for a drink and something light to eat I would not bother going anywhere else. Vianden is a lovely town to walk around, visit the castle or do a bit of hiking.

Obiekt The Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest położony jest w miejscowości Vianden. As soon as Glen stepped out of his car and greeted us (including our dog), we knew that the weekend couldn't go wrong! He gave us a guided tour inside the cozy cottage, literally in the middle of forest, yet still close enough to the village down the hill. We ordered some BBQ-ready food from Glen and oh, it was so delicious! The deck is covered, so you can BBQ even when it rains. The cottage is decorated with a lot of personal touch and it makes it very homy. In the morning, we could see squirrels and birds out of the windows. We are already planning to come back in the summertime!
